Love it love it love it!
I was late to the party and only started reading Shari Low in 2020. Read them all one after the other and LOVED the stories. What I have loved is that in each story a character from another gets gently woven in like Val here or Josie (love Josie) This just makes the framily tales stronger. Carly is a wonderful character, the one we would all like to be and we have all been rooting for her over her past 20 years to get her happy ever after. This was a joy. Laugh out loud funny in places and tear jerking for Sarah’s story. I binged read it in a day and feel sad its over till the next book.

Very repetitive, just page filling
I’m trying hard to keep going but struggle to get past a few pages. It’s repetitive. Slow. Page filling with the same point made over and over. Bought because enjoyed the light hearted first in the series. This repeats a lot of that story line and it’s painful. I’ve read at least three or four times that something bad happened to Sarah at page 80 and still we don’t have a clue what happened to Sarah but clearly that’s going to be the plot

Fantastic Read
Second book I’ve read by this author and follow up to What If?It’s 20 years later and Carly Cooper is back. At first glance it seems she’s more settled and has grown up a lot but appearances can be deceiving.Found I loved Carly (Cooper to her friends) more in this book. Deals with an interesting set of circumstances through the supporting characters. The end seemed quite natural and a lot less rushed than the previous novel and all loose ends tied up nicely. Can be read as a stand alone novel or alongside What If?Personally I felt this novel was a much better read. Would recommend.

The worst thing about this book.... was that it had to end!
The sequel to “What If?” Did not disappoint! Absolutely brilliant!Full of wit, humour, awesome one-liners, love, loss, mortification! (I didn’t know that was a word before this)!A truly talented writer, Shari Low makes her characters relatable and so very likeable. I felt like I was sitting around the kitchen island with them, I felt like one of the girls in that wonderful group ,which, those of us who have been blessed with once in a lifetime friendships, can easily feel part ofI have been on such an awesome journey with these characters, I’m really going to miss them!Thank you Shari, for helping me to fall in love with my kindle again! I’m off to find more of your books and decide which to read next....

Great book
If you have not read “what if” I strongly recommend you read that first although there are plenty of recaps it’s a fabulous book and shouldn’t be missed. I read them back to back. We often wonder what happened to our much loved characters in books and this delivers just that. It’s 20 years on. Catch up Carly and her friends in this funny and emotional sequel. Loved it!! Can we have another one please? Bet Carly will still be wonderful when she’s 70 just like Val!!!

Carly Cooper is still my hero
I absolutely adored What If and completely fell in love with Carly Cooper when I read it last year. I was apprehensive about the sequel in case it didn’t measure up to my high expectations but I really enjoyed it! Was very happy with the ending.
