You had me at Bacon! I Love Bacon, so this easily slipped into my cart. Dolphin Hat did it again. Stealing the bacon actual bacon is fun. Sometimes, we have a hard time returning this game piece to the box; might need a second helping :-) just like IRL. This is a simplified game and a good starter, if you haven't played any of the other Dolphin Hat games. There are similar rules to the other games and the competition remains high in our family. What I love about Dolphin Hat games are they are easy to learn, quick to play (you can do several games while waiting for breakfast or to depart for an event), great simple graphics/ design, easy to take with you on a trip, easy to store, and always fun with friends and family.

My family loves this game, especially my 3 year old. She is always requesting this game and teaching it to others. It face paced and fun for the whole family!

Trying to find a game for our family to play for family game night is sometimes a chore. We have six kids of game playing age from 17 down to 7- that makes f or a wide-range of game needs and abilities.Steal the Bacon is a game all of the kids agree on as a fun game, even if it isn't the first game to be grabbed from the game shelf.The mechanic is pretty simple. Players take turns placing cards and if a player places a card that matches the card before it, those two players race to place their hand on the bacon first. If they do, they get a piece of bacon. There are also a few character action cards that are good at throwing a little variety into the game.While my kids do enjoy the game, it can get a little testy sometimes. Since gameplay is based on placing cards in a central pile, it is tough to play with a group of more than four unless you are sitting at a round table, especially if you have younger children with limited reach. Also, as people play cards it can be hard for everyone to see what was played due to different angles which can lead to a lot of, "But I couldn't see the card!" protests. There isn't much you can really do about that, so my kids kids have gotten accustomed to hearing Westley's words from the Princess Bride, "Get used to disappointment."The only thing I wish was done differently is the big piece of bacon. It is a soft foam which makes it safe for quick grabbing. No gripes about that, I get it and appreciate it. The problem is, if you get some energetic players, the foam is easily torn. What is the solution to present a safe playing piece that is also durable? I'm not sure. Just go into it with your eyes open to the nature of the foam bacon strip.So...- fun game for most ages who are able to process and respond quickly- better at a round table or with fewer players- careful handling the foam bacon piece, it can be a little fragile.Steal the Bacon is a game my kids grab when they look at the game shelf and say, "We haven't played that in a while!" And they get excited and we have a great time playing it. However, it isn't the game they all name when we ask what game they want to play. You won't regret buying Steal the Bacon, it just may not be your go-to game.

This game is great to play with family and friends, it comes with a squishy bacon toy that looks very cute and it’s very easy to pick up this game and play.

Great hit with the grandkids. Small and travels well. Need a table to play on

Like Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza better. This is similar but not as fun.

Just got this game because we liked Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza so much. Played it this past weekend and it was great fun!! We had a group of 5 adults ranging from 20's to 70. We have a couple of people who are REALLY competitive, so the poor piece of bacon that we were grabbing ended up getting torn in two pieces. I'm going to see if I can possibly purchase a replacement. And yes, there may have been alcohol involved. LOL!!!!!!!!! Would highly recommend if you like games that are quick play and just a tad rowdy.
