This is our new standard top light for our news cameras.It is so lightweight and portable, yet it has a fantastic light output for those quick media gaggles where everyone crowds around someone for an interview. The light lasts a long time on one charge, and it charges back up quickly in between uses. The RGB possibilities add a fun creative opportunity for certain video shoots. The included honeycomb and soft box are also nice touches that enhance its allure as a quick light.It is not waterproof, but due to its size, you only need to throw a sandwich bag over it with a rubber band to withstand even the hardest downpours.This is a workhorse of a light, and yet another fantastic product from Smallrig.

I love these for small mobile photo sessions or when I need a bit of color to pop in a certain area. Small rig makes really great and competent products that won’t break the bank.

Took the two lights out for a very important shoot today! These lights were an absolute DREAM! I am going to be buying more of them in the not so distant future! They do not have all the bells and whistles that some of the more pricey variations do, but I can tell you that when you are out in the field the more simplistic design makes life so much easier! Today, these performed beyond my expectations! The only thing that I will say was at the least the slightest of Cons was how hot they got. That was after almost 3hrs of shooting though. It was just a shock, that is all. The attached pics were to help others avoid making the same snap judgement I did. The ball mount that is included does work with all my Nikon bodies. Awesome to the men and ladies at SmallRig, I truly appreciate it!

Packaging is impressive and all the contents were as described. The light is the size of a cell phone and constructed really well with a metal back and easy to use buttons. I'm happy with the amount of light it puts out as well as all the color and mode options. It's half the price of some of the other lights of size and features. For the price I'm definitely impressed and would recommend this light.

It's a nice little light bout the size of a large smartphone. Good built quality good feel. nice buttons. (FN button can also be pressed) Recharges pretty quick. Passthrough charging will allow you to output 70% power not 100% probably due to thermal concerns. A bummer for me since I was planning to use it at full power connected to a battery bank. There are 12 effects, RGB lighting w/ saturation controls, warm to cold light and power output controls that all work very nicely. The effects cannot be edited a very nice addition would be an app and option to edit and upload your own effect vie an app, there's a profitable business idea for you... The shadows cast buy these types of LED lights can be annoying in some scenarios, but can be remedied with the provided silicone softbox and honeycomb both of which look pretty cool. Packaging was exceptional like a high end smartphone.

As I like the products from SmallRig, this is also a great product for photo-video work. The color accuracy and brightness levels are perfect for my style, mostly macro photography . Battery is great, no extra heat after long period of use.it would have been great if the would be the possibility to control all options from app.Overall I am pleased to use this LED light.

This light packs an amazing punch and has so many great options. Great quality in the build and fits easily into my camera bags.

Ya he comprado anteriormente accesorios de esta marca, cada vez van mejorando e innovando. Me hubiera gustado que tuviera conexión con alguna app como algunas otras de su línea tienen. La potencia es muy buena, las he utilizado como luces adicionales para fotografía de producto y su flexibilidad en cuanto a cambios de temperatura y de colores RGB me han funcionado perfecto. Eso sí, como todo, la duración va en relación con la potencia, es decir, al 100% yo estimo una duración de poco más de una hora.Tiene la ventaja de funcionar también como power bank que es un plus bastante bueno, aunque la verdad eso no lo he puesto a prueba aún. En general, si la recomiendo, es muy útil y un buen accesorio, trae un difusor, cabezal pequeño para tripié, funda y un adaptador tipo honeycomb además de su cable de carga. Si hubiera podido ser controlada por una app tendría todo lo necesario para ser un accesorio indispensable.

These are terrific lights, with a fairly intuitive interface to select modes and make adjustments. Build quality is fantastic with an aluminum construction, and the included accessories make these lights a brilliant value.Some other reviewers have noted that the magnet is not super strong: true, so make sure to double check the light is securely attached to the surface you intend to stick it to.The light also does get quite warm under full intensity. That’s to be expected, and not an issue.The battery life returned me 1 hour and 43 minutes on my test at full brightness and 4200 Kelvin. Pretty solid performance, and should last much longer if used for subtle effects on scene.Overall, these are definitely worth having in your kit, I got three of them and might get one more.
