I have diabetes and have a transplanted kidney. Both conditions are known to contribute to multiple nutrient deficiencies. I started having trouble with insatiable thirst. Neither blood sugars, renal involvement or thyroid were the problem. I've read of other people on forums with the same issue and medicine does not know how to deal with it. Since the transplant drugs interfere with minerals more than other micro-nutrients I thought that a multiple mineral supplement might be of value. Within a day of taking them my thirst was back to normal. I haven't had any problem since. (3/20/17) I found I also needed to take a calcium supplement with this as well.I wish I could get something that contained more minerals that this but this was the best I could get.Since even good diets are low in minerals, a multiple mineral supplement is advisable for most people.
