Shipped very fast and did the job!

Unit was easy to install correct size ( Standard small) to fit inside motor casing. High use running for 2 months perfectly so far. Someone had previously installed a 110 volt rated capacitor in my lake sprinkler supply water pump. It burnt out quickly as the pump is 220 volt rated and now has the correct 220 volt capacitor. Great price . So easy to fix existing unit. The repair guy wanted to replace whole pump for almost $500, of course our pump was fine and he would have resold our used unit with a quick paint job and new capacitor installed. Moral of the story, first check your capacitor and if your motor spins freely and looks good its likely the $10 capacitor that needs replacing as well as getting a new repair guy if you use them. One that does not spend your money so freely.

I replaced an old capacitor in my well pump that was working fine but it was from 2006. Decided to replace it just because it was old. After a few uses with the new capacitor the wire that was touching the outside housing of the capacitor burned right through. Not sure what would cause that or if the capacitor is still good. I don't think the cap blew it's just scorch damage on the outside. Now I have to get another new cap and replace the wire. The well pump is from 2006 and worked fine with the old capacitor. The actual issue with the well pump turned out to be a clogged filter causing low pressure. Cleaned the filter and it was full pressure working great for 1 day then this happened. Just can't win.

Opened package-Removed old copacitor- installed this-compressor started right away. Great start compacitor

The photo shows how I received this part. I'm not sure if someone returned it or used it. I have not tested it yet, but not good business to sell as new.
