I've purchased a lot of gel packs over the years. I use them every night when I sleep, and these are the best. They freeze up quickly but not so hard that you can't use them right away. Some others I've had freeze so hard that you can't use them for hours. These are the perfect consistency, plus they stay cold for a good amount of time. They're comfortable in any position and easily conform to whatever body part needs cold attention. Bonus, the first set I purchased last year is still going strong, with no leaks, and I use them every night. The ones I've purchased from CVS have always started leaking within about six months, so these are much superior.

I read a LOT of reviews of ice packs (and purchased and returned some other ones) before snagging these - they are exactly what I was hoping to find. If you are looking for a long, flat pack that stays cold a VERY long time, these are the ones to get.So far I've only used them for cold / icing so I can't comment on the heat feature - but for icing a broken shoulder, these are awesome. I found these way easier to use (and way lighter) than the packs that are "shoulder-shaped" - the ones of those that I tried (and returned) were heavy on a broken shoulder, didn't stay cold long enough at all and were difficult to get the icy areas to conform to the areas that hurt.These ones can be moved around to cover the whole joint - I use one on front and one on back - or one on top of shoulder, hanging / draped over front and back - and then another one wrapped around the whole upper arm - the flexibility provides a lot of combinations to ice where it hurts the most.They stay frozen / cold longer than any other product I tried - it was so frustrating with some products that didn't stay cold even for ten minutes. Even ice packs that looked similar (and even had good reviews!) behaved SO differently compared to these.Some reviews said these ones are stiff and not flexible - but they are flexible to bend around upper arm or whatever area once they are out of freezer for just a few minutes. They are really durable and fast to refreeze too.These worked so well from the start that I ordered four more sets so I can always have enough of them already frozen and ready to go after physical therapy. The bright red color is cool too - usually packs like this come in only blue color - this certain set has one of each.Fair price too - and a bonus is great communication from the vendor and a lifetime warranty, replace or refund.

My husband and I both use these gel packs, both for cold and hot. Easy to use in the micro, but a bit stiff when trying to wrap around a knee when cold. But still for the price and reliability these work well. Thanks again Amazon, and your vendors.

The gel packs are the perfect size for migraine, ankle sprains, neck aches or bruised pairs. They freeze fast, last a long time when using.

These stayed cold for about an hour. My only problem with them is that the plastic covering is a little heavier than my previous ones. Made it a little difficult to wrap around my arm. If using for your back or other flatter area they're great.Update 9/17/23: Many months later with HIGH usage, these are still in perfect condition and work well for my sciatica pain. They hold heat and cold for qite some time. What makes me really like these is that the freeze very quickly. Wish this brand made a larger one.

I've only used them for the icing feature, but they are fantastic at that. Much easier to use than ice, stays cold for long enough to do a couple 20 minute sessions, and freeze very quickly. Great product.

Great size - It is a Good size for head or lower back. Molds easily around injured area, so it stays put. It is Durable, not easily punctured. Stays cool and cools down quickly. I love that’s it’s a 2 pack so one is always ready to go.

I freeze these because I need to go to bed with an ice pack every night due to chronic pain. They stay cold for a long time: I can use one for about 2-4 hours. I wrap a 2nd one in a scarf next to my bed so that I can switch it out if I wake up during the night, and wrapped up like that it stays cold all night.
