Bought this for our 2 week "staycation" this year, we had a number of days out to forest parks and National Trust sites etc planned and needed a bag to carry lunches, water bottles, rain coats and sunhats (it is summer in the UK after all) etc for 4 people. The is just the perfect size for this, and I found the waist and chest straps to be very comfortable, and really removed the weight off the shoulder straps.Since it was pretty cheap, I have not exactly been gentle with it, but once the mud is washed off it comes up spotlessly clean and with no damage.As others have commented, the bag comes folded in half so the back board is bent, I have "fixed" this by bending it vertically, and that has stopped it buckling in half while carrying it.There is also a built in rain cover, I am not convinced it would hold up against a heavy shower but it was more than adequate for the light summer showers.I was not expecting a bag of this price to last the 2 weeks, never mind the several weekend trips we have made recently as well. It is still going strong.Constructive criticism, the bag could do with a board or some padding on the base, when you set it down on the ground there is no protection for the contents.

Used this to hike Snowdon. It was comfortable, light, yet easy to use with several pockets and a good waterproof cover. Glad I got it, I will be using it again for Ben Nevis!!

Good amount of storage space without being too bulky, and the hip straps make it brilliant for walking - nice and comfy

Bought as a cheap and cheerful bag for work... really happy with it, comfortable to carry, lots of pockets, seems really well made.

I've been using this bag everyday for work or workouts(hiking with added weights) and it's been fantastic..zips are strong and so many pockets. Would totally recommended this bag!

Bought this for a sponsored walk in August. Have tried it out a couple of times and seems excellent. Very comfortable, plenty of room. Lovely colour. Will last longer than me on the walk, but it is being carried.

The bags great! I'm made up with everything on it but the bent the backing and it now digs into when hiking because it got folded in the post which was the reason I bought a new bag in the first place now I have two great bags both backs gone but one is newer than the other...so really bags a 5 star for me but the way they post it is a 1 or 2
