This is a well made, well functioning burner. Buy it without fear. Let’s clear up the bad reviews, frankly it’s mainly user error in set up and understanding. The manual is fairly limited also which doesn’t help. Here’s my advice:Remember Bunsen burners at school, they had a little twist thing at the bottom that opened and closed the air hole. So it created a wavering yellow flame when closed or a raging nearly invisible blue flame when opened. This simply has the same as fire needs oxygen ! Out of the box you fix three legs with 6 screws - easy. Then you tighten a silver metal collar over an air hole. If you completely close this up , you’ll get weak yellow flame and sooty pans. If you leave it so it can slide up and down a little you can adjust till you get best blue flame according to your gas supply pressure. If in doubt fix it half open and that’ll probably work fairly well almost all the time, but you can have it tightened but still moveable so perfectly adjustable as needed. Brilliant burner for outside cooking if you need something better than those camping stoves for paella, woks etc or just speed up the process for large volumes. Hope this helps set up and enjoy a summer outside entertaining.
