You wonāt be disappointed (unless your easily disappointed)
Thereās. I thing bad to say about this machine other than maybe the need for replacement water filters which to be honest I just donāt bother replacing as most other machines donāt use them and our water is good quality anyway.Firstly it looks great! Itās a medium to dark grey and matches our grey cupboards great. The initial reason I bought this one was because it looks smart, like really smart, especially with its reverse LCD display with decent timer font compared to most penal displays that look like a cheap old calculator. With regards to use, it slides easily across our counter under the cupboards as need to pull it forward to open the lid as our cupboards get in the way, but it slides well and stays in place when not moving it. Itās holds enough for large pots of coffee but also makes a single big mug no problem. The filter basket isnāt flimsy at all unless you are heavy handed, but getting the grounds out requires using a spoon or lots of water compared to throwing filter paper away.It keeps the coffee warm for at least half an hour after it finishes brewing it. It brews in normal time and tastes great. Thereās. I thing bad about this machine at all, it does everything a. It also cheap machine does but looks better. You can even hide extra cord in the units body itself.Of all the cheap ones out there Iām glad I bought this one. And a note to reviewers of products giving 1 star cos itās broke, just send it back and get a replacement, giving a bad review against a product because it was defective isnāt justifies, quality control and delivery drivers these days means issues can happen, you have rights, if itās broke get it replaced and leave an honest review!

Fantastic Coffee Machine
Looks very pretty in my kitchen great design. I like the timer function works well. Ground Coffee gets evenly saturated from the showerhead on top and has a pre blooming feature which is good for a machine at this price point. Will be using paper filters but I tried the permanent filter and it does an amazing job at filtering out the coffee grounds whilst allowing the flavour of the oils to come through into the coffee. It has a very premium feel whilst still a budget machine. I like the fact you have a choice of using the water filter cartridges but I use a brita jug so I don't need to use them. The brewing capacity is great so I can fill up my big thermos flask in the morning for work and get a cuppa as well. The temperature of the coffee is excellent better than some of the cheaper machines that burn the coffee

Easy to use
Lid broke within days of purchase, flimsy.Otherwise works well but doesn't keep coffee warm for longer than 40 mins.

Garish colours but good coffee
As an American, I consider a filter coffee maker to be an essential household appliance. Ours is run 2-3x daily.First, let's get the obvious out of the way - the colours are garish. But as my old coffee machine (the Morphy Richard equivalent) decided to stoo working after less than two years, I had no choice. A broken coffee maker is an emergency I'm our households, and with shops closed for lock down, our choices were limited to Amazon Prime.Despite the colours, I'm impressed. Our coffee is hotter than the Morphy Richards and the coffee brew quality is equally good. It's a lot faster as well, although perhaps that's because it hasn't had time to be scaled up with our rock-hard Hertfordshire water?I'm not sure what this replaceable water filter thing is about. Breville's attempts at creating regular revenue post-purchase? It won't remove limescale, and our water is tasty as it is. We've just ignored the filter for the last several months and nothing has exploded, so š¤·āāļøI'll report back on longevity...

Good machine, now way overpriced
Love this machine. The timer function is a godsend! Getting up to freshly brewed coffee is heaven! It has a filter, so cuts down costs of buying paper ones, and better for the environment too.I grind my own beans, but you can use already ground beans in this.I love the machine. Its simple to use, and the coffee tastes lovely.I however, did not pay 99 for it. It jumped to that price the day after I bought it. I would not have paid that. It's now way over priced imo. There are other machines thst do the same thing and are a lot cheaper

Basekt too small for coffee
Making a few cups is great, but as soon as you make a pot of ~10 cups (definitely less than the max the machine is supposed to handle), the basket filter is too small. While the coffee is being made, the coffee grounds overflow and get into the pot.

Coffee cup contains ground beans
This coffee machine will not take filter papers, because the coffee receptacle is not a cone but a circular bucket. The filter netting is on the sides. The resultant coffee is " muddy" and not to my taste. The whole internal arrangement is wobbly but comes apart to clean easily. The coffee grounds are plastered all over the bucket so instead of being easilt and cleanly removed

Easy and simple
Ditched the expensive coffee machine and pods for this and never looked back - super simple and makes good coffee quickly.
