Looks really great and does not take up much space. Would have been nice to have another niche for a laptop also but then it would have taken up more space, right?

I owned the first generation Quirky docking station for many years before I stumbled upon this updated version at an unbeatable price. It is well built and has a nice modern design. It definitely takes up less space than the previous version. So far I've used this to charge my iPad Air and iPhone 6 and the charging times are as expected. My only concern is that this white colored material it is made out of will turn yellow but only time will tell. Hopefully this will last me as long as the first generation did!

Cable too short. The charger too bulky. the dock angle shld have more then two adjustment. It's messy after all

So three stars… not because I don’t like it but because the finish became tacky and I had to throw the first one out that I bought from the Container Store. I use it on my end table and can keep my cords handy and put my iPad and kindle on it to clear the table top. So, I am unhappy that the finish doesn’t last but love the convenience of several cords easily available and the shelf it gives for my items.

So this particular item comes in a plastic and plastic/aluminum blend. It's the plastic one here, and it seemed to suit my nightstand electronics well, but was so front heavy it kept tipping over. I thought about it, and replaced it with the aluminum version, which is a marked improvement. Aside from that I worry about how many human lifetime equivalents have gone into USB hub design, compared to some of our other challenges.

Works great. Just what I needed. Compact and classy.

Turned out to be very useful. Although bottom slot is flexible it is rather narrow and is a bit fiddly to thread the end of the cable through. I tend to run them round the side. Great for watching a film or catch up. Not sure I would have paid full price but as an add on it was great.

much better than i thought it was going to be, we charge all sorts on ours

looks a good unit but it come with a two pin plug so you have to buy an adaptor, it then becomes to heavy to stay in the socket.
