Cheap and works
Keep in mind this is 3/4" NPT Thread, NOT Garden Hose Thread. You need an adaptor if you dont want it to leak.

Works Great. No Leaks.
Very happy with the product. I didn’t go into a deep dive testing the amp / pressure specs but works great for me. Bought some pvc pipe and adapters at local hardware store which worked fine. Had to grip the body of the solenoid with pliers and twist the pvc adapter thread into it with a wrench along with plumbers tape to have it not leak (there was a very very small amount of water beading out of one of the threads) but after that completely water tight. I get the other reviews complaining about leaking, the body of the solenoid is awkward to hold even if you have a wrench / pliers on what you are screwing into the threads. You really need a good grip on whatever you are threading into the female end and on the brass body itself (and plumbers tape) around the male thread if you don’t want any leaking at all but I feel like that is just the case in general with brass fittings.Important to note 3/4” garden hose threads and 3/4” pvc threads (what this solenoid has) are not the same. If you try to screw a 3/4” garden hose into this you are going to have a bad time and it will leak all over. In the pic I have adapters at each end connecting pvc 3/4” to the solenoid fittings and 3/4” garden hose adapters on the other.

Very questionable internal threads!
I read the 1 star reviews and two people stated that no matter they did, they couldn't get the joints to stop leaking. One guy insinuated that maybe they were using the wrong fittings (possibly hose thread). So I bought one with this knowledge. When I received the item, I took 3 different 3/4 -14 NPT male fittings and hand-screwed them into the valve body until they bottomed out. Then I just barely loosened the fittings and they wobbled significantly. This would indicate to me that the tapered threads are not correct. The Chinese manufacturer is possibly using the wrong tap to cut these threads. A British Tapered thread has a 55 degree thread profile, while NPT is 60 Degree. Not saying that this is the problem, just a possibility. But, there is definitley something wrong with these threads.

It's it's the same thing that everybody is selling made in China it works and it's priced right
I bought it to use on a gas line for an outdoor grill to be able to shut it off and lock it off it works fine and it was reasonably priced

Read this before you buy.
This valve only shuts off the water in one direction. I needed this to use with a submerged pump to prevent a back siphon. This did not work as I had hoped. Once the valve was turned off or closed water continued flowing causing a back siphon. If your not worried about a siphon then this valve might work for you. When off or closed nothing gets through the valve in the direction indicated by the arrow on the valve body. I decided to go with an electric ball valve.
