For my 9yr old and my 3 yr old
After reading the instructions i gave my 9 yr old 3 tablets since she is chunky and constantly complaining of not being able to use the bathroom, she complained that they were disgusting but chewy so she was able to eat them quick, it took about 40 mins to work for her and she drank lots of water to help her go, it worked well and she did not have to go back and forth multiple times and she felt lighter, my 3 yr old did not like the taste so it didn’t work for her since she spit it out but i plan to try again.. :-/

This product became apart of my "miracle" constipation regimen
This product does the trick in combination with some other things. My daughter struggled with constipation from age 6 months until around 16 months when I found what seemed like the miracle mix of a few different products. Let me start by saying I know I am not a doctor and would never try experimenting using unsafe products on my little one. There comes a point after seeing your child in so much pain that your heart breaks and you are willing to step outside the box and "test" certain SAFE things. I tried EVERYTHING the doctor recommended from dietary changes and restrictions to juices and nectars and plenty of fiber (even a fiber supplement). My daughter ate a very non-constipating, healthy, well rounded diet so I had no idea why she was constipated. It got to the point where I bought the enemas to have on hand because her bowel movements were so few and far between that when she finally had to go it was devastating to watch her be in so much pain and discomfort. I even reached out to her doc to see about getting a prescription constipation aid. Her bowel movements were the size and shape of an apple at times and it would scare me to death when she had to go. I decided to get these in a last ditch effort to find that "miracle" regimen that worked for us. I stopped the juices/nectars (I didn't want to keep giving her sugary drinks that weren't even helping her constipation if I didn't have to). I started giving her 1 tab of these laxatives in the morning before her morning bottle (you need to make sure your child will drink a substantial amount of liquid after taking the laxative so that it will actually work. I started putting 2 oz of aloe vera juice concentrate in her bottle also (she drank 1 bottle in the morning and 1 at night, so 2 oz of aloe and 4 oz of milk twice a day). I got the aloe concentrate at Trader Joe's; it comes in a huge jug that lasts me over a month. I also started buying lactose free whole milk (I am not sure if this has anything to do with constipation, but I didn't care, I was going to try to change it up just to see). I bought an infant/toddler probiotic (Renew Life Ultimate Flora Baby Probiotic) on Amazon as well and started adding a scoop to her morning bottle only. So between the 1 tablet of laxative, 1 scoop of probiotic powder, aloe vera concentrate and lactose free milk...my daughter was 100% constipation free after a couple weeks. Her poops started coming out soft, sometimes runny and messy and I never thought that would make me happier! She also pooped A LOT at first...seemed like every couple hours, which I believe was because she was SO backed up...poor thing. After a month or two of this regimen, I stopped the laxative tablets altogether in hopes that the aloe juice and probiotic would be enough...and it is! She is a happy pooper now!

So easy and effective!
I am so happy these chewable laxatives worked! My almost 4yr old hadn't voided anything bigger than a golf ball in months. We've been using stool softener, which only made them squishier and more frequent. We were considering an enema but decided to give these a shot first. He had a massive but comfortable unloading within 40 minutes of taking one tablet. I definitely recommend using stool softener for a few days beforehand, because with the sheer volume that came out of him, it would have been terrible if it was too compact. His belly no longer looks distended at all. I'm sure he's as relieved as I am 😅

Works a bit slow
So these do help my kids but it’s definitely not meant for quick relief. They’d have to eat plenty of them for a fast effect so I think powder miralax might work better. However if you need something to just regulate bowel movements for kids this might work.

Tears of Joy!
Our 4 year old son has been dealing with constipation for months! He was potty trained at 24 months, but got caught up in the 'don't want to stop playing to go potty' thing a few months back. Then when he went, it hurt because he'd held it. Then he'd hold it because it hurt last time. He was caught in a vicious cycle. We've been to see specialist, given enemas (as directed), changed diets, done reward charts, gone through can after can of powdered fiber, and even had the 'poop fairy' visit. So many weeks of crying and fighting and trauma (on both sides). The very first night, we have him 3 right off. He had a very large movement overnight in his pull up. For the next 3 days, we gave him one pill with each meal. He has consistently (and painlessly) had multiple multiple movements. Nothing out of control. No diarrhea. No cramping. We're going to drop him down to 1.5 pills a day to keep everything moving until we can get him back on track. We are beyond relieved (as is he, I imagine).
