Fits 18-Inch Firewood Perfectly
Review Update – Fits 18-Inch Firewood PerfectlyI originally bought this fire pit because there’s a beach we love to camp on that requires you to bring your own fire pit and dispose of the ashes. It’s worked out so well that I now use it at other campsites too—I absolutely love it.One of the main reasons I chose this unit is because it’s long enough to fit the 18-inch firewood you typically find at campground stores and nearby gas stations. That’s been a huge convenience.Another major plus is that it doubles as a charcoal grill—and it works incredibly well for that. What’s worked out great for us is using charcoal to cook dinner at camp, then tossing logs on the still-burning coals right after cooking. The coals easily ignite the firewood, giving us a great campfire for the evening.Airflow is excellent, cleanup is a breeze (just brush and wipe it down), and it all packs up nicely in a thick, heavy-duty, well-designed carry bag. Highly recommend.

Good quality and easy to assemble
The media could not be loaded. I really like this product because it is easy to install, easy to clean and it is stainless steel. The only problem is that it is a bit heavy especially if you want to go camping or hiking. I really like this product because it comes with its case and you can easily store it. I recommend it 100% because when you have it stored you can put it anywhere and it does not take up space.

Exceeded Expectations
The media could not be loaded. I really enjoyed this girl. I didn't want anything huge and obnoxious because it's only me this work perfect. The size is great. It's enough to throw a couple of burgers and wings comfortably on. handed the heat really well. I was a little nervous because it looks so pretty. However you, the durability is great. Very lightweight and efficient for a small gather

More pros than cons
I bought this grill for a recent camping trip, and for possible future use on backpacking trips. That is why I chose the smallest size. And the size was perfect. The tiny little grill is roughly 6“ x 6“. It’s perfect for cooking two hamburgers, a pork chop, or maybe three or four hotdogs. I had planned to try making oatmeal on this grill, but both of the mornings that I planned to do that, it rained, so I ended up not cooking. Therefore, I still don’t know whether it will boil water or not.Because the grill is so tiny, the receptacle which holds the charcoal or wood is also very tiny and also gets narrow at the bottom. So I’m not sure you could put enough fuel in it so that it would get hot enough and stay hot enough to boil water. It certainly could, but I don’t know for sure.In spite of being so tiny, this grill is really quite heavy for its size. That is good, because that means it is nice and sturdy, but on the other hand, I don’t think it’s something I would take backpacking, when I have to carry it all day. Camping at a campground, where everything is carried there in a car, would be fine. So, the materials are sturdy. The base is made of very heavy, well it looks like wire, but it’s far too heavy to call it . there are several pieces which need to be unfolded and assembled in order to set up the grill. The instructions are clear, and set up is easy. However, because everything folds to create a nice small size for packing up, I kept feeling like, if I needed to move the grill once it was set up, but there was some danger of it folding up a bit. I was very careful putting on and removing the grill section, to be sure that I didn’t bump anything out of place. I didn’t, the grill stayed properly assembled, but that is the one change that I would make - the base at least needs to lock in some fashion so that the grill could be picked up and moved if need be without worrying that the base might fold up and drop hot coals where they don’t belong. I move the grill a little bit after it was all set up and with the charcoal in it. It was a very windy day, and the matches kept blowing out before the charcoal could light. so I picked up the whole thing and set it inside the back of my van, lit it, and immediately moved it back outside onto my little table. It worked fine, but as I said, I felt like I had to be extremely careful. So, the pros are that this grill is exactly as described, very small and very compact. It folds up into a small carrying case and all the component parts are very sturdy and well-made. The grill works as described. The cons are that the base does not lock into place and although the way the parts fit together does hold the grill in place reasonably well, it feels as if it could shift out of position if care is not taken. And the grill is quite heavy, so it might not be the best choice for a backpacking trip, although it is a nice little grill for cooking small meals when camping. If you were thinking of purchasing this grill, read the measurements and description carefully so that you understand how tiny it really is. It was perfect for cooking for one person, and I am happy with it for the purpose that I planned to use it for.

New favorite Pair
Initially bought a firesense notebook grill (cheap, annoying to clean ashes, factory smells from paint) which I returned and fortunately paid the extra for this and the foldable chimney (larger version). Fits perfectly, easy to setup, use, and clean thanks to the ash pan. Seems to produce better heat zones as well. Firesense charcoal grate isnt flush with side panels so if you pour hot coals from chimney incorrectly you'll be fussing with getting the grate leveled if it falls down one angle. This one folds up nicer, definitely more premium and seeminglh longer lasting parts. 3 cooks in and its become my favorite grill for short camping trips and quick backyard cooks for family of 4.

WORKS FINE SO FAR
JUST A HEADS-UP, IF YOU PLAN ON COOKING 2 STEAKS ON IT, YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO DO IT. THEY WERE TRUTHFUL ON THE SIZE. I USE IT CAMPING BY MYSELF. I DON'T CARRY CHARCOAL AROUND ANYMORE. I COOK OVER WOOD AND IF IT STARTS GOING OUT I ADD A FEW MORE STICKS. IT IS SURPRISINGLY STURDY FOR ITS SIZE. IT'S NOT THAT GREAT IN THE WIND BUT NOTHING IS. I LIKE THE COMPACTNESS. IT'S A LITTLE TRICKY GETTING IT BACK IN THE BAG SO REMEMBER HOW YOU TOOK IT OUT. EASY TO SET UP AND EASY TO GET IT CLEAN.

Great little fire pit/grill
The media could not be loaded. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I like this little grill/fire pit. It arrived just before my camping trip that ended today. I used it twice to grill burgers and hot dogs. I collected small twigs and branches from the campground and that's all I used to cook with. The small twigs burned quickly to get the fire going and the larger ones lasted just long enough to cook my food both times. To keep this going for long periods you need to have a lot of small limbs ready to constantly feed the fire or a bag of charcoal to add to it. I ordered the grill lifter to use when it was hot to adjust it up or down. That was a good addition. Again, overall I'm happy with the product and how small it breaks down to store. I'm going to bring it on my next motorcycle camping trip.
