Very well made by Ernie Ball. Sweeping is so smooth if you are looking for a quality Volume pedal. This is one.

Es excelente. Se siente muy orgánico y funciona a la perfección. Este modelo es de 250k, señal de Linea tipo guitarra con pastillas pasivas. Hay un modelo de 25k para pastillas activas. Es bueno no confundirse. Es súper robusto y del tamaño completo del pié. Si tienes poco espacio no te va a funcionar pero si lo usas al estilo tradicional, en el piso junto a la pedalear me parece insuperable.

I recently picked up playing Pedal Steel Guitar too and volume pedals are essential.The Ernie Ball VP JR gets an A+ in my book after over a year later it is still a solid and reliable volume pedal at a reasonable price. I would absolutely purchase again if needed (only offers a 6 month limited warranty). However, the only thing that is likely to malfunction, or wear out, is the sting inside the volume pedal and you can replace that part for a nominal cost and you don't need to be a guitar tech to fix it yourself. There are simple instructions on the web and YouTube that only require a screwdriver and some patience.A small design flaw, which is a minor critique on my end, is that the position of the taper switch located behind the input jack under the footplate . The micro taper switch gives the guitar or pedal steel player two distinct volume swell rates.I am happy with the performance, durability and sound of this volume pedal and I am giving it an A+No battery required.

Excelente Pedal. Estou usando para captação EMG ativa. Não senti nenhuma perda de sinal. Funcionalidade ergonômica "TOP". Valeu demais a pena!!!

There seem to be generally only the Ernie Ball or the Dunlop X spoken about in forums and videos that are up to pro standards. I needed a live volume pedal and this was £30 cheaper than the Dunlop and hell it's been around 40 years (?) so should be good. It's a super smooth pedal action and the volume swells or controls at set levels very well. It does the job and feels like it will last decades. Job done. This one is plenty big enough - you won't need the bigger one.
