I installed 5 of the 12" units around the outside and inside of our home since we're seniors and have balance issues. They are very sturdy and easy to install. The included hardware and anchors works perfectly on brick and can be installed without anchors directly into wood. I put tubular insulation on the outdoor grips for wintertime. This is an excellent product with lots of size options. They are so easy to install, I added a 45" version to stairway in minutes and I really enjoy having the extra assistance on the stairs.

It’s does what I want it to do

Installed by a garage door into our home for just that extra bit of protection against falls. It's very sturdy & the friend who installed it for us was impressed with it.

The handle itself is very good. Installation is simple. But the achilles heel(s) are the screws. Even though I pre-drilled the holes, the screws are not hardened steel, the bit rounded out two of the four screws required to hold in place. Suggest they be made with a six sided head so a screwdriver is not necessary and would be stronger to secure it in place.
