I was intending on buying semi transparent/sheer curtains. I went this this particular brand because in the photo it seemed more opaque than some other brands. They are good quality curtains, no complaints there. Just keep in mind they are VERY sheer, the photo does not accurately depict the amount of light that comes through. I bought them in red, and they are so transparent they almost look pink. If you want mostly transparent curtains to go under drapes i would recommend these, just don't be fooled by the photo, you could read a book through these.

They are exactly what I was looking for! They are wide enough to not need a crazy amount for a large space too which I loved. The color is absolutely beautiful. The price is a bargain for the beauty these curtains are. I had no problems with mine or stains or anything else and will be buying more in different colors.

For now, I have to go with 2 stars. I bought them for a large window, and it isn't listed anywhere that you'd need to buy multiple sets (probably 3 or 4!) to achieve the pictured effect. Also, when fully stretched out (as it must be to close on a larger window) it does not offer even a smidge of privacy. I understand that they are sheers, but even sheers at least "blur" what's behind them. With these, it's like looking through a dark red filter.I went with these because it was a cheaper option, but seeing as I'll need to buy 2 or even 3 more sets to fill out my window defeats the purpose.For small windows, I would recommend these! For any windows larger than 72 in, I say, do NOT buy unless you are okay with buying 3-4 sets. I'll be returning mine, because they do not fit my needs. Hope this helps!
