Life Extension California Estate Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 500 Ml, Rich Polyphenol Unfiltered Cold Pressed Olive Oil - Non-GMO, Vegetarian

After doing some research on how not all olive oils are pure, I bought this one, and wow, what a difference. The flavor is so much fuller, the color brighter, and the oil itself is not as runny as the one I was using before. You can see the two for yourself on a couple paper plates in the picture. Left is my old one, and right is this one.

I buy this olive oil simply for its incredible health benefits. I really like the taste but because it is very high in polyphenols, it does have a stronger taste then the average oil. That being said, in addition to using it in recipes and salad dressings, I also take a tablespoon by mouth each morning as I typically eat a very low carb breakfast so this gives me some really healthy calories. It has incredible cardiovascular and anti-cancer benefits and I consume it almost every single day. If you favor stronger tasting olive oil or simply want to add an incredibly healthy item to your diet, I can't recommend this enough.

Package - Pours slow with an anemic flow rate ... not a great feature for kitchen prep. Peppery after taste.

I wanted to love this olive oil. The bottle is great and the packaging was wonderful and I was looking for a California-based organic olive oil to replace my fav Italian so it would have higher phenol content. This oil however is quite bland in taste. Zero peppery back of throast taste and while it's okay if increasing the usual seasonings in salad dressings and sauteing I don't like it for dipping breads. It's almost tasteless.

The Organic Cold Pressed Olive oil is the best for the money. One of the highest in the heart healthy Polyphenols which gives it a very distinct peppery taste. I love the taste. I use it on salads. Some drink an ounce or two a day as well. Highly recommend.
