Brilliant toy
I wanted to let my kid to introduce to solar energy and robots. I found this product is interesting and served the purpose. It’s solar panel well placed and energized the machine to move around. We loved this product. Worth for money.

I got this kit for my son. Since we've been stuck at home, due to COVID, he's been SO beyond bored. I found this when I was searching for some type of building kit to help keep him busy. It looked like fun, but the ages said 8-12 and he's 15. I was worried this would be too simple for him, so I read some customer reviews on multiple sites about this type of solar robot kit. I'm glad I did, because most people recommended that this was more suited for older teens or those that worked on it with an adult. All of their feedback was 100% accurate!! This is indeed a kit for an older teenager or adult. You need to have good fine motor skills and be able to follow highly detailed directions. My son goes to a STEM Academy for high school and loves to build things, so this was perfect for him. When he pulled it out of the box, I got the "Mom Seriously" look. He scoffed that this was a baby toy, but he found out that it was more intensive than he expected. Haha, Score one for mom! I like that this has stimulated his mind and gotten his creative juices flowing. He's created all 12 of the designs given in the manual and he's now designing his own creations. The pieces are all plastic and you pop them out of a sheet when you first get them. I attached a picture of what the sheets look like when they arrive. Some of the pieces are small and there are alot of them, so I highly recommend having a container to put the pieces into after you pop them out, so you don't lose anything. Once it's assembled, it fits in the palm of your hand. To me, the solar aspect of it is so cool. As long as it has direct sunlight, it's like the energizer bunny and just keeps going and going and going. This turned out to be a great robot kit that my son has had a blast with. Very happy customer!!

I bought this BOZTX 12 in 1 stem kit for my husband and our 5 year old granddaughter that loves anything that is related to build and put together blocks, etc.. We love technology and were excited to have something we could do together and savor the teaching moment. The parts came all attached to molded plastic holders and were easy to extract. I was very impressed that part holder bags were well marked and provided particularly since the kit is intended to be built in several different configurations 12 different ones to be exact. The assembly instructions were clear and relatively straightforward with a minimum of confusion. The kit worked first time together and it was very exciting for her. The motor moved out of position from time to time occasionally it will slip slightly to the side and not engage. When this happens the motor turns but the unit will not move. The fix is to grasp the unit holding the motor and squeeze the unit until the gear and motor contact each other. This is not hard to do. Still the kit is a very good first introduction to robotics. Highly recommended

Parts dont fit well into each other.. Couldnt make more than half of the models. Also parts a bit too small for kids to handle.
