I'm lucky in that our garage is not finished so securing the plates for these racks was SUPER easy. I used the screws that were supplied and I have heavy beach cruisers hanging on these! I was a bit concerned after reading a few reviews but once the package arrived (next day after ordering!) I saw the screws that came with the package and knew it was going to be fine. If you factor in that you're going to be hanging multiple bikes… logic dictates that you MUST be screwing into the 2x4's!! Unless you're hanging kids bikes, DO NOT USE the wall anchors that they provide. You will only destroy your wall. If you don't have easy access to the studs, get a stud finder and you will have ZERO issues or worries!

There is not a lot of room for full size bikes so I’d plan on fitting 5 rather than the 6 it promotes it can handle. If you have some kid bikes through it should be just fine. Durable enough and has stood up to kids. I’d reinforce the rubber on the hooks so they don’t scratch your rims. They were exposed after only a month of use.

This is a great buy. 4 bikes is tight, 3 helmets practically impossible. But don’t let that deter you. This thing is sturdy and installs in minutes. I plan to buy another section or 2 to spread the bikes out even further.

This could be a really good product. I like the way the hooks mount and positions are adjustable. I also like having 3 smaller rails instead of one continuous rail, as it allows for creative mounting. I was able to snugly fit 5 bikes of various size/types. One could probably fit 6 if the rails were all at the same height, had all the same type of bikes, and alternated hanging from the front and rear wheels.THAT SAID… in a picture for this product, the holes are shown as being 16” apart. They are not! They are 15” apart, which makes it challenging to hit studs that are at 16”. I could not use the provided screws and had to angle 2” deck screws to hit the studs. Let’s be honest, the anchor/screw combo for the inner holes will hold the bracket on the wall and that’s it. You really need to hit studs if you’re hanging anything more than a helmet… so having the holes at 15” is a fundamental problem! Make the holes 16” apart, like in the picture, and the product is really good.

Easy to hang up, bikes go on and off pretty well. Deciding factor will be the weight of your bikes and the height you hang the rack. Ours is probably a little high and two of the bikes are heavier, so they are harder to get ip and down. The lighter bikes are a breeze. Not really great for helmets, though, as there isn’t a ton of room between bikes the way we hung it.

Easy to mount I did it myself, Seems sturdy enough. Time will tell. Only problem is I don’t know if I’ll be able to fit all 6 bikes on it. It seems smaller than I imagined. But perhaps it’s just my eyes and I really only need to hang five so I guess it doesn’t matter to me really. Thank
