Excelente Libro de Colección
El libro es muy bueno, gran calidad de las páginas e información, excelente complementonpara todo coleccionista de Batman.Lo que no me gustó fue el mal empacado con el que llego, sin protección alguna. Por suerte no se dañó.

Best Of

Amazing posters, but a bit overpriced
Ok, I'm a huge fanboy of PCC and Mondo's Batman Animated posters and own nearly every one of those posters featured in this book (is that a humble brag?). The reproductions featured here are high-quality and the concept sketches offer interesting insights into the creative process behind these mini masterpieces. All that said, there isn't a ton of written content and you'll go through the book pretty fast. You get Dini's introduction and an interview with the artist...then the poster gallery with some, but not all, offering additional written insight into the concept behind the design. That's not a lot of content for a $60 book. At most this should have been $35-$40 retail. There's no slipcover, no exclusive pullout prints, no insights into the insane secondary market for these things, no insights into what's coming up...though there are six posters featured here that have not yet been released...are they coming soon? Abandoned ideas? No info. Also missing is edition sizes and original release dates for the posters. How about a checklist? And, page 93 has concept art for the Shadow of the Bat poster but the caption references The Clock King which is featured elsewhere. I suspect this will be corrected on future printings. All that said, it's still essential for any Batman Animated/Mondo fan and as most people don't own most of these prints it's a great way to get a good look at this art all in one place. The vinyl soundtrack art is also featured here, though the 7" singles and respective colored vinyls are not. (The variant for the die-cut bat-shaped vinyl is not shown either)In summary, love, love, love artist Justin Erickson's work and his dedication to the Batman Animated series. The posters he produces are a fanboy's dream come true and I can't wait to see what he comes up with next. Nitpicks aside, the book is definitely worth a purchase...but at a discount. (Keep in mind this does not come shrinkwrapped and will get banged around a bit via Amazon's "we'll dent the corners for you" shipping model)Update July 2021: Just wanted to give a quick update and note that after my initial review was published, both Mondo and Phantom City Creative came out with their own "deluxe" editions of this book, slipcased with some extra mini prints/cards/bookmarks. Both were even more expensive than this edition and sold out quickly. Also, several of the posters in the book that I referenced in my review as not having come out, have since been released by Mondo. However, at the time I'm writing this there still are a few that have yet to turn up. I'm sure they're coming soon...I hope!
