I have 5 of these. They all work with a phone app called CamHiPro and no cloud service is required. You can record to micro SD, and push to your own FTP server simultaneously. Has clear HD image and video, does a great job of tracking motion objects (too good if you have the sensitivity turned up too high) They are great, however, the manual lacks an English section, so you have to use a little common sense when setting up... the quick rundown is1. download CamHiPro to your phone from app store2. Plug in camera ( wait till it boots 1 min +/- the camera heads spins a few times)3. Disconnect from your usual wifi and connect to the camera wifi with pass 012345674. Open CamHiPro app5. Add new ip camera with the + symbol6. log into the camera with admin admin7. add your wifi connection credentials (prompts you to do this)8. Name and save camera (auto prompt)9. Change camera password (auto prompt)10. Switch back to your normal wifiThe camera wifi that you connect to for setup is no longer available after connection.That's it, Use CamHiPro for settings and view video/alarm videos/push notifications.

At our community we were notified by Management that one of the unit had been broken into with some property contents lost. I immediately started to investigate my options for video surveillance.I was looking for three things:1. Wireless2. A floodlight3. Optical zoomThis model had all of that plus a discount on Amazon now. Further down the listing is a video where he field tests three different products that have the same criteria I was looking for. For me, this one was the clear winner.Set up was a snap. Internet connection was super simple, once I figured out that the QR code to scan is physically on the bottom of the unit. After that I was off to determine the optimal mounting location.I'm only scanning about 10' in front of the camera to get the windows and patio door. Excellent sensitivity. Excellent picture, with the spotlight and without the spotlight. For my application I don't need to go into b/w night vision so it stays on color. Looks super simple as well.The options for mounting are very good. The bracket has detachable installation.All is working extremely well so far. After watching the video, I highly recommend this product.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this to monitor the feeder and field of our animal preserve mounted about 200-300 feet from the wifi source.. We tried a couple other similar cameras but they dropped connection far to often, with this one we just pugged it into our remote wifi antanae (BAS-2307) and solar system (as we did with the others) and it has not dropped connection since we installed it, so if you are looking for an awesome remote PTZ camera with a great wifi board that you only need to add a better antennae to, this is the one to get...Purchased: 7/30/2021Update 1/12/2022 , Camera started losing connection off and on so I removed camera from overhang and took into house to determine problem. I Tried resseting several times but The camera is no longer discoverable with Camhi Pro app even when connected via ethernet cable. not sure if it's the garbage camhi app or the camera. Either way and even though It was mounted under a large overhang protected from the elements, it didn't make it to the 6 month mark ...Update 1/13/2022Customer service promptly contacted me and after describing the rigorous troubleshooting I performed to try and make it work, they asked for order information so they could send out a replacement. A+ to them for this... will update again when i recieve the new camera.Update 1/18/2022 Recieved New camera and it works flawless, I would definatly buy from TOPODOME again simply because of the customer service, warranty and price point, but falls 1 star short of perfect due to the previous camera longivity. I however do feel very confident that as a company they will fix those issues in the future as they seemed to be genuinly concerned with any problems you have with their cameras. overall an A+ experience with TOPODOME

I bought this camera because I have fixed battery powered cameras that store video in the cloud and wanted to try something that gave me more features and control. I love that it stores video locally on the installed SD card and that the SD card is upgradeable. With the 32GB card it comes with I can get 2-3 days of video with all of the quality settings maxed out and constant recording.I also really like the auto-pan follow feature. It is super accurate and does a great job of following even my kids running quickly around the yard.It doesn't have batteries, and I really like that. With my current system I'm replacing AA Lithium batteries ever 6 weeks or so. Having a power plug is fantastic.In my state it is illegal to record audio without all parties consenting so I keep the microphone turned off, but I did test it when I first got it. Seems to work well.The software for desktop is a must if you want to adjust the advanced features but the mobile app works just fine for the average user too.I think I'm going to add a few more of these and retire my old system. Plus with the pan feature I'll be able to cover my whole property with 3 or 4 cameras. With my fixed system I have 11 cameras and it still has blind spots. An improvement for sure!

Junk! As my headline says, night vision is completely gone. Five months after purchase, I no longer have night vision. Only "white light" night vision mode which is visible to the naked eye, and very annoying.Apart from that.. the fact that the signal and power cables do not run through the mounting post is obnoxious, a design mistske that shouldn't have been made.
