Wow.
Look if you're using iron but you're not using nitrogen you're kinda wasting your time. It's gotta be both. This stuff worked great for me. A noticable difference just with the first 24 hours (which means I definitely had a nitrogen deficiency). If you apply it but don't water the daylights out of the lawn for the first week you're not going to see growth or color improvement. Water grows grass better than anything. You can't just spray nitrogen on the lawn then water for 15 minutes every other day and expect growth. You can't just put down nitrogen and never put iron and expect a huge improvement. In the high desert of Colorado if you're watering for less than 30 minutes daily you're really just wasting water because the water you are applying never makes it to the roots and just cooks off. Big drinks less often are better than tiny drinks more frequently. If you're going to water every other day or every two days it's gotta be 30-60 minutes, or more specifically 3/4"-1" of rainfall per week. Anything less and you're just "keeping it alive", you're not gaining ground. If you use this product as directed and a healthy water regimen you will absolutely notice a difference. Grass is very difficult to grow here and this product will absolutely become a regular application for me.

Great deal
Great price and good product

Expensive but worth it.
Surprised at the small quantity. It is also expensive. But don't be fooled by either. This works really well. A single application made my lawn looking from dismal to good. A second application made it very good. What's the point in buying large quantity of something that's cheap but works mediocre at best? I would buy this again next season.

Skeptic turned believer
I have read the reviews and noticed a lot of the reviews worked at the manufacturer of this product, but I was willing to give it a shot. Yes, $50 isn’t cheap but it was cheaper than refilling this specific area with mulch after every rain. I put about 2/3 of the gallon into an area that was a triangle, approximate dimensions are 20x12x13. The mulch was about 4-6” deep throughout this area. The problem with this area is when we get heavy rains, our gutters overflow into this area and washes the mulch out. We just had a tropic storm yesterday here in North Carolina and got about 7” of rain. No mulch washed out from this area. The huge issue with this area besides the overflow from the gutter is that the grade goes down about 1 1/2 feet in from the highest point to the lowest. After the rain from yesterday, there was some packing of the mulch just under the gutter but none of the mulch shifted or washed out. I will purchase a second gallon to reinforce what is there because of the amount of rain probably weakened it a little. Very happy with the product. Just an FYI, the mulch used was that cheap mulch you get from the gas station, 10/$10 with inconsistent sized pieces.

Clear instructions and great quality
Applied to my Bermuda lawn in Alabama. First nitrogen application this year in May and it responded extremely well, I was hesitant to apply to much considering I haven’t had an application this year but this ended up being exactly what my lawn needed! Just follow the instructions on the back and what the greenness of your lawn come back to life!

Patience and follow directions
By the time I had applied most of the gallon I could see the results and immediately ordered a second gallon for later. It seemed counter-productive to water it in after applying but I have a strict policy of following directions the first time before doing something different. Needless to say, I follow the watering advice and I am happy. To those with negative reviews, I don't think you can neglect your yard like you see in the first two pics that show neighbors yards and expect miraculous results, it works its' magic on a yard that is cared for originally. This product is kick butt nitrogen! I tested my soil prior and it was nitrogen deficient. You be the judge.

Great stuff results start to show at least after 6-7 days

It worked out well for my purposes. The only issue I have is that it doesn't provide clear mixing instructions or a dilution rate. So, I went with a 4.5-to-1 mixing ratio that Google suggested.

The bottle is smaller than I imagined and I was skeptical that it would be enough for my lawn. I probably diluted it more than recommended but it was very effective at darkening my lawn. In fact, there were a couple of strips of grass where I missed and the contrast in color is very noticeable. Not cheap but it is effective.
