We Love This Teakettle!
We’ve had this teakettle for 5 months now and love it. Zero issues with it. No crazing of the dial, heats water fast and pours easily. Although we drink coffee in the morning, we drink tea in the afternoon and sometimes in the evening. We have suddenly become tea connoisseurs and must have ten varieties of tea that we’ve ordered online from the Tea Spot in CO.It did take me a few minutes to figure out how the controls work. The information they send is very confusing. I figured it out from reading reviews, lol. It’s simple. Press on and then boil, to get it to heat to 212 degrees. Most teas want the full boil of 212 degrees but some don’t need to be that hot. The Tea Spot tells you on the package. In that case, once it starts to heat, keep an eye on the temp as it rises and hit the warm/hold button when it reaches the temperature that you want. If you’ve selected boil after you turn it on, once it reaches 212, it will turn off and start cooling down. You can hit the warm/hold button at any point to stop that if you want to keep the water hot. Press the on/off button to turn it back off. The basic lights will stay on when plugged in but they don’t get hot and again, no crazing of the controls, no wearing off of the writing. I read complaints about that so I waited a long time before writing a review, to make sure it didn’t happen on ours.Anyway, we love the teakettle. It looks nice, zero problems, works well. I also ordered those tea balls in front of the kettle as it’s cheaper to order tea in bulk than in sachets or teabags. They also work excellently. They’re the 2 pack Reinmoson Tea Strainers. They look nice and fit narrow cups as well as deep ones.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BGH1QCXN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

So far I'm impressed
The kettle looks very stylish and the ergonomics make it easy to control the pour. While the sides are hot, the base stays cool so the kettle can be safely set on the counter.I tested the heat-up to 200F and checked the temperature using my Thermapen Once. After giving the unit a couple of minutes to temperature settle after the initial heat-up, the temperature reading on the base matched the Thermapen. I checked the hold temperature over a 15-minute period and the heating element kept the water temperature right at the set temperature. The heating is rapid, on a half-filled kettle, the heater raises the temperature about a degree per second. Keep in mind that the heating element is not controlled by a PID, so on the initial heat-up the heating element overshoots the target temperature (set at less than boiling temperature), in my case a 200F target temperature was 208F on the initial heat-up, just give it a couple of minutes for the temperature to settle and it will be back at the target water temperature and the kettle will remain at the temperature. Again this is completely expected without a PID controller and no big deal if you don't pour the water as soon as the unit beeps that it is ready. The instructions are hard to follow because the wording and grammar are so bad but you should be able to figure it out because the unit is not complicated to use.As far as longevity goes, only time will tell, but so far I'm impressed with the kettle.

Everyone asks where to get this kettle!
I have used it for six months now with no issues. The smaller size is great for coffee or tea for two, and the pour spout gives excellent control. Beautiful and functional.

Lacks Quality
I bought this kettle because of the reviews/price point and how it looked.I saw some reviews that mentioned issues with the electronic screen and it getting glitchy but opted to give it the benefit of the doubt. At first the kettle was pretty great, beside a little qualm with the true temp versus what I was being told; I wanted boiling (212F) but for some reason it would only go to 210F, which was more a quibble than a major problem. However, a year later the screen startled failing, the kettle would stop working and I’d have to finagle the thing just to get it to work. Needless to say it was too late to return it, so now I’m having to make do with a kettle that I often have to unplug multiple times to reset it and then press ‘boil’ repeatedly in order to get it to work. In short, I would strongly advise you not to buy this kettle.

A very good kettle, with only a few minor nitpicks
This is my very first electronic kettle, and so far I'm very happy with it. I only have two nitpicks that are no longer really bothersome.First, the instructions for heating the water were not very clear in how to maintain a consistent temperature, but after just one use, it becomes pretty much straightforward in how to use it. Just set the temperature using the bottom buttons and press the "Keep Warm" button and it will heat and hold to the temperature you've set.Nitpick number 2 is that the gooseneck spout is not aligned with the handle. It veers slightly off to the right. I'm not sure if this was a flaw in the manufacturing or if the kettle was specifically designed this way, but it hasn't hindered my brewing experience. I have no trouble whatsoever in using the kettle or controlling the flow of water as I brew my coffee. On the plus side, I really like this kettle's design, its ease of use, and how quickly it heats the water. It used to take at least 10-15 minutes for my stovetop kettle to heat water to the proper temperature of 190-205 degrees. This electric kettle can heat water in almost under 5 minutes. For my first electric kettle, I'm very happy with the experience I've had so far. I deeply love preparing and brewing pour over coffee and so having a good kettle is crucial. I'm happy to say that Poliviar has delivered a satisfied experience, despite those two little nitpicks.

Appealing design
This is a very classy and appealing design, I love it on my countertop. My husband uses it every day for tea. It heats up quick, and I love the digital temp reader. I wish it was glass inside instead of metal, as it gets kind of grimy inside (even using filtered water) but it is easy to clean so not really a big deal.
