Q: How many come in a pack of one

Some pouches have 4 servings some have 8. I just finished eating the hearty chicken and rice and all i had to do was add salt after they were cooked. I keep 3 separate buckets in the house for Hurricane season here in Florida and 4 5 gallon of the empty food buckets to fill up with filtered water and I am set. They boast a 20 year shelf life. The one I just ate has been in my kitchen for over 3 years. Just make sure you have salt or some kind of seasoning to add to them.

Q: Can I store this in a garage or shed worrying about temperatures change if it would effect I live in Texas so it gets really hot

I would not recommend keeping these items or any food storage in a garage in Texas. Temp too high or too low can reduce the shelf life.
