What I like best about the 3 piece Rivet Buckle Removal Tool Sets. It easily removes the old and brittle Plastic 2 piece Rivet Buckles without breaking them. I used the large and small Rivet Buckle Removal Tool. Both tools worked flawlessly and didn’t damage or break the 4 small and 3 large old and brittle Rivet Buckles I needed to remove. I’ve broke many old and brittle Rivet Buckles. Using a flat head screwdriver. Often breaking the heads off the rivet and the top of the buckle when prying it off. I was going to fabricate a small and a large home made Rivet Buckle Removal Tools. From 2 old screwdrivers. Heating the Tips of the screwdrivers cherry red. Then use a ball peen hammer. and anvil. To hammer the head of the screwdriver flat. Then Angle grind out the slot, sides and taper. Then reheat the tip of screwdriver cherry red again then bend it to resemble a Rivet Buckle Removal Tool that can be purchased . Then reheat the fabricated tool cherry red and dip it in cold water. Then temper the tool so it wasn’t brittle. Until I was looking for replacement Rivet Buckles and the removal tool was shown before I completed the purchase. The low cost and now having the 3 piece Rivet Buckle removal tools. Seeing that they are good quality tools.I would have sent the tool set back for a refund if they were cheaply manufactured. I’m very happy that I didn’t use at least a hour or more of my time to fabricate the 2 Rivet Buckle Removal Tools. The 3 piece Rivet Buckle Removal Tool Set even comes with a good quality storage sack. The lifting tool I didn’t need to use. I’m certain it will perform as well as the small and large tools.

This is a cheap set of tools, they’re not some high grade alloy or anything like that. They’re just basic painted metal but that’s all you need especially if you’re just occasionally popping door panels or trim off. I frankly was not convinced that the pryer type tool was going to be of any value but I’m here to admit that I’m wrong, you figure why do you need something like that when you can get a pride tool or your fingers behind the door? There’s just something about the leverage that puts on it from behind that cleanly and safely pops the door panel clips without breaking any of them. The plastic tools that come with it are great for just getting the panel off enough to get the tool behind it. You don’t need to buy anything more than this. It will certainly do the job and last a lifetime for most people.

This set of 3 tools has worked perfectly for me. Durable and easy to use. I did sand off a few burrs, but that can easily be done with any piece of sandpaper. More than worth the purchase price. And it comes with a storage bag. Comfortable grips. I have thrown out all my other trim tools!

I've been meaning to buy a kit like this for awhile , although they are not needed alot , they make popping out those plastic fasteners so much easier. I had a repair I needed to do that was going to involve popping out plastic fasteners so I just spent the $10 on these so I didnt have to mess with pliers and a screwdriver. It was worth every penny and although they will be rarely used , I now have them for the eventual next time. If your a DIY working on cars , do yourself a favor and get a set. Quality is fine on them. Although I didnt use it , I think the included scissor type popper is a great addition. I'm happy with the tools and didnt destroy the fasteners like I usually do and they came out super quick.

I ordered these tools for as I had to change a headlight on my truck which requires removing lots of buttons and with out using these tools half of the buttons would have been destroyed by trying to get them out with screwdriver andvthe 3 piece tool set worked awesome.
