The second book was better than the first
I really enjoyed this book. The pace was fast and Sabina found her sister. It cracked me up that the shifters were only allowed to have one child each. I also was extremely amused to see howmany of the pack reacted to rules broken by the sisters. Sabina’s family although Roma were so tied to the shifters and were animals long before they were exposed. I definitely have to see what happens in the next books

Different world
Author has been a different kind of shifter community. Good supernatural story. Relationships big part of the story. Fast read

Intriguing
Serena’s ability to wrap you up in a story is awe inspiring and a reason she is one of my favorite authors. This is the second book to “The Year of The Wolf series” and I really enjoyed it. This shifter story is like none I’ve read, with how Sabina (omega of the pack) is linked in feelings, auras, visions to the entire pack is very interesting. Her relationship with her mates (Ethan, Eli, and Austin) is deeper and faster than most as well, and that has a lot to do with the unusual “pack omega” she has become. When Sabina finds her siblings (Lara and Jana), prophecies come to light and secrets are revealed about the future of their children. With learning of her sister Lara (The Moon Child) comes new insight and a war that causes Sabina’s son (Knight) to show his powers. But with any story, power always comes at a price. It ends with a glimpse into the future 6 years later and a cliffie that has me really wanting Sun Child (3rd book in the series) to be completed.

Good book
This series is turning out so good. I can’t put the books down because I want to see what happens next. Sabina and her sister are really heating things up. I hope Daniel had better life. Good writer

Sorry but no
I was not a fan of this one at all. First off, it all felt rushed. Like fast forwarding this entire story line just to set the stage for the next book. Second, Sabina annoyed me this go around. She seemed less caring and strong and more insecure, bitchy, and whiny. Third, the sex scenes were pretty crappy. Although they were descriptive, they just felt lackluster, and without the chemistry of the last book. Fourth, I liked the idea of the Lara, but that whole things was weird and the relationship with Todd... was just told. I never felt it. Fifth - what the hell with the whole Jana situation- that was ridiculous. Sixth, the whole thing with Seth and the setup for the next book - we already know the entire plot now. Seventh - the rage about the whole Berry situation and how it was resolved was also hyped up but really just over dramatized in a bad way. Eight, did we really need so much time and attention on Sabinas issues breast feeding? Like what in the hell was the point of all those extra words on that when so much of what drove the plot could have been improved. Nine, there were other small letdowns in how the guys reactions to certain things were written as well. It’s like all of them seemed like they were young kids play acting to be adults but you see their insecurity, attitude and petulance, all the way through. The whole thing just felt rushed and bizarre.

Interesting
Moon Child is the second instalment of The Year of the Wolf series and returns to Sabrina and the gang as they forge a future whilst trying to deal with the history that brought them together. Sabrina isn't the same character from the first instalment. She has become weaker by the changes by finding her mates and mystery being revealed.I wanted the fiery Sabrina of the first book, not afraid of the family secrets. She is insecure with the changes and it shows as her Roma heritage is called into question in order to figure out her future .Her mates are the ones who stand out for the right reasons in this book. Eli holds the book together and is the one to watch out for as he delves into the tension and makes something out of the situation. He wants the future that he heard about and wishes for but it truely going to happen. This is the first time I have read one of the PNR’s from this author and I do love shifters and the concept overall. The first book did set things up well so I did wonder if this would focus onthe relationship. It did but it was imbalanced and left me wanting Sabrina to wake up and take charge like she did before. It will be interesting how things play out in the third book

🐺 Amazing second installment!
I’m absolutely loving this series and I can’t wait for Sun Child! I need more of Daniel in my life. LolSeriously though, at the end of Wolf Child I had no idea where the series was going to go and I was soooo curious. I love the way Serena constantly keeps me on my toes with her twisty plots.

Loved this book!
I loved Wolf Child, but I think I love Moon Child even more!! This is the second book in The Year of the Wolf series which is a paranormal, reverse harem story. This book gave Sabina and her guys even more backstory while also introducing you to Lara (Sabina’s sister) and her mate Todd. I loved getting to see Sabina and her mates interact with their son Knight. I appreciated that this story gave a realistic view of parenthood and that everything doesn’t always come easy or feel natural for new parents. This series so far has been a very unique take on shifter romance and I definitely need more! I can’t wait to read Daniel’s story in Sun Child!

Brilliant read!
Sabina and her three fated mates - brothers Eli, Ethan and Austin - have a major problem on their hands and require a specific type of assistance. Sabina desperately needs help from her younger sister, Lara, who has abilities that are far different from her own. What they don't know is that Lara needs their help just as much as they need hers. Unfortunately, the trouble Lara is in follows her to her sister's home and endangers them all. Rescue comes from a totally unexpected source and Lara gets initiated into the shifter world very quickly. The Mother works in mysterious ways. Answers will be revealed to all when the time is right. Mates aren't always who and what you think they are and secrets don't always stay hidden.Serena Akeroyd will keep you wondering just what will happen next in this paranormal romance. I cannot wait to finish the trilogy.

Another amazing sequel!
The author Serena has quickly become my favourite author this year. She has given yet another new release here that I just had to read and review straight away. This is the sequel to Wolf Child and starts exactly where it ended on a cliffhanger so jumps right in with a bang. I'd definitely start with Wolf Child if you haven't read yet. There was lots of questions I had during the last book as it really built the story and the world. Moon Child was great in answering them but still keeping me guessing on what would happen next throughout. I enjoyed that we still got to see all the characters from before but we get to know Sabina's youngest sister Lara more and dig into the family dynamics. This was by far perfectly set up and built upon showing off more of the authors writing. I loved the twists and turns so much throughout I literally screamed at the ending. It has me wanting to read Sun Child so much. If its half as good as Moon Child then it will definitely be my favourite PNR Trilogy. I can't wait!

Moon Child: A Pnr Shifter Romance (The Year of the Wolf Book 2)
As with the first book of this series, book 2 is even better in the way it carries the story forward; while leaving your impatiently waiting to get your hands on book 3.I highly recommend this book, it’s hard to put down until you find out what is going to happen next. Love all the characters, their individuality, their togetherness with their mates and reading the blurb about book 3, I can hardly wait to find out how Daniel’s life progresses!

Fantastic book
Absolutely loved both books , the story grips you from the start. Each character has their own story and the way they held is brilliant. I can't wait to read Sun Child now, I have to know how it all ends.

So good. So so good.
Brilliant continuation of the series. A kind of hybrid between a sequel and a standalone about different people in the same world. We saw a lot of Sabina and her mates in their mated life, but it also introduced new characters and their story too. I'm very intrigued to read more about Daniel and the Sun Child, especially after that ending!!
