Stopped working
The media could not be loaded. I bought this safe awhile ago and I don’t use it very often (thankfully). I set the passcode and the fingerprints back when I first got it. And then one day when I needed to add my clips, it didn’t take either. I had to use my key. tried resetting and adding the fingerprint and passcodes back but I still can’t get it to take. Now my latch doesn’t work and it won’t stay closed. I’ve opened this thing maybe 4-5x since I’ve had it so it isn’t from wear and tear.

Just stopped locking for no reason....
The media could not be loaded. I liked the safe but for some unknown reason, it just stopped locking...I entered the code, took out my weapon, went to close it back and it just sprung back open. I looked to see if anything was obstructing the lock mechanism, but didn't see anything. I would love feed back from the company, and possibly a replacement.

Junk.......
I've had this safe for 3 months. When I first tried to open it with the key, it would not open. I had to use a thin screwdriver to gently pry on the door while turning key to open. When it did open, it opened about 1 inch and the lid just sets there instead of opening all the way on its own. I just thought it was from being shut too long or thrown around during shipping. I tightened the lid spring so the door would open all the way and stay opened. I was able to realign the lid so that it would open without prying. So 2 problems fixed. Installed battery and programmed keypad and finger prints. So far so good. Battery door is overly complicated and seems impossible to get back on. So it's in the trash. So 3 things fixed. After about 1 week, the fingerprint scanner decided it doesn't like my fingers anymore. The keypad and key still work. So I changed the battery. Seemed to fix it. About a month later same thing (this is with me opening it only about 3-4 times). Changed battery again and it's fixed again. I just tried to open it again (6 weeks since last opened) fingerprint doesn't like my fingers anymore and key pad acts like the wrong code is entered. Tried to open with key and latch releases but door is binding again. I had to pry the door open with a screwdriver again. I'm very disappointed in this product. It doesn't seem that hard to make a safe that opens when it's supposed to and lock when it's supposed to. "Why didn't you just call customer service?". When you see a product that is so poorly designed and assembled, it doesn't matter what type of customer service they have in my opinion. It seems the common response is that they are sorry and they will send you another poorly designed and assembled product. Atleast by writing a review about it, people who want to read this can get a "long-winded" explanation why this product is junk.

Just FOLLOW the instructions!
The media could not be loaded. Read the 1☆ reviews and clearly understand why they left it..they didn't follow the INSTRUCTIONS to a T. That being said, just read owners manual, follow instructions & the safe is PERFECT! Easy to install on wall, perfect size for pistol, security code or program finger prints (mine & husbands) will open automatically. Had someone else try, safe went in lockdown for 5 minutes. Comes with keys to open. After opening safe with key (from lock down) I was able to open with fingerprint without issue. Husband did combo & it opened. Definitely worth having in our home. Sturdy, solid, compact and security at a touch! Either programed fingerprints or combo!

Do Not Use with Clammy Hands
I had to use this product for a real scenario that had occur in my house. In the middle of the night I was woken up by a loud bang and rushed to the safe on my dresser. My adrenaline was pumping and my hands got sweaty. I tried to use the biometric finger scanner 3 times and it failed all three times and went immediately to the 3-digit code you can input. It allowed the immediate release of my firearm and I went to clear out my house. Luckily there was no one trying to break in at all.So after having said all that I still believe this is a good product. I run a Glock 19 with a Streamlight TLR-7A and a 17rd mag. The safe also fits my spare 15rd and I’m sure you can put another 17rd if you want.Buying this product I figure the biometric scanner wouldn’t work for me IF my hands got clammy because this has been a history whenever I use biometric finger scanners. Under non-clammy hand usage it is quick and efficient in releasing your firearm. In my scenario, I didn’t feel I was in immediate danger and tried the scanner. So now if I’m in an even worse situation I know to use the 3-digits.If you are the type of person that gets sweaty hands when an important situation occurs or you get nervous, I highly suggest you go immediately to the 3-digit code rather than the fingerprint scanner. Depending on the scenario, seconds count and you don’t want to be locked out of your firearm if you need it.I hope this review helps people find the right safe for their firearm and precious seconds count in a real scenario.

Good Value for Money
The first unit I received appeared to be a returned product that was defective. Amazon replacement corrected that, and the product customer service reached out regarding the experience. Second unit works as advertised, and is great value for the money. Finger print reader was easy to set, does not active for profiles not created, and works well. The initial unit had an issue with the locking mechanism and would only release with the key, but that was due to the seller sending a returned unit and not the fault of the manufacturer.

Works perfect if you read the instructions
Read all the reviews and was on the fence about getting this, especially if any fingerprint can open it. It’s clearly marked in the instructions and video that factory default is that any fingerprint can open it. I just set it for my index finger and no other print will open it. Code and keys work perfectly as well. It’s very sturdy and heavy. Seems well built and with good components. A very similar safe with a brand name sells for more than double, I’d buy this one again for sure.

Key got locked in the safe and can't get in now. Help!
This safe is super durable, good size, and overall great, but I gave it to my husband as a gift and my daughter got to the key and put it inside and shut the top before my husband could set it up. Now we can't get into it. Is there anyway to send you the 4 digits on the lock itself and get a new key?
