This item works perfect when you're installing a aftermarket radio. Note some of the old school radio Soundstream vrn-dd7hb will not work.

Nice fit easy to put together

I installed this in a Chevy Silverado and works great. I did have a few wires that I did not know what to do with after I hooked it up. I called product support two times and both times they were very helpful, great attitude and helped me figure out with no problems. The installation at first looked pretty intimidating with all the wires, but they are color coated and matched up pretty well. The unit works great with all the steering wheel controls working as they are supposed to. Highly recommend.

Made installation easy. Everything is labeled, instructions are clear. I called PAC to make sure it had the latest firmware upgrade and tech support was fast and friendly. I added a SiriusXM tuner and ran it directly through the JVC kw-av71bt head unit instead of using factory tuner, so I can't comment on the XM displaying in the driver info center. Thus the rear seat audio only plays what is being played up front.The chime box turn signals are still a little cheesy and quiet. The chimes are clear and loud. When you solder the wires, add a length of wire to the parking brake lead and ground it for a parking brake bypass.This is a big bundle of wires to stuff under the dash, but that makes it easier to connect. I can revert to stock in about 30 minutes.September 21, 2013. Stopped working. Weird buzzing noise from the blue box. Gonna try for some warranty help!October 28, 2013. Received replacement blue box from 3 Kings Audio. Both PAC and 3 Kings responded quickly (I was slow in contacting/sending part). New blue box is latest firmware upgrade. Will install tomorrow.November 2. Up and running. The replacement was simple. Thanks to 3 Kings for letting me send back just the blue box. Plug and play, back in business. Fingers crossed that this one works for a looooooong time!4/2/18: Still works great!

Works as described easy to hook up

it is easy to install. a must for my silverado. a lot of features won't work without it.

This is really a great product and retains everything from door chimes to turn signal sounds to steering wheel controls all in one package.I'm giving it 3 stars because after a month the speakers in the drivers side door decided to not work when I first turned on my car. They would turn on after 10-15 minutes of driving. Then when I turned the car off and back on, they would reset and take another 10-15 minutes to work again. I worked with technical support, who eventually concluded that I had a faulty interface, and told me to go back to Amazon to ask for a replacement harness. I thought it was a little strange that the manufacturer would tell me to get a replacement through Amazon rather than provide one themselves.Unfortunately, Amazon only offers returns on this for the first 30 days, and since I bought this 4 months ago I am now caught between seller and manufacturer in trying to get this replaced!

Did everything I wanted it to do better than the axxcess harness. To be specific, the reverse output didn't work on the axxcess but did work on this unit. Aftermarket reverse cam so didn't get to use the harness for that. Also much easier to "program" than the axxcess harness. Flip a switch or 2 and you're done.
