I had bought this backpack for my son's 5th grade year in school. He is now in 7th grade and he's still using the same backpack. It still looks new. It has not ripped and the zipper has not broken. It's the perfect size which could easily carry a laptop. Perfect amount of space and I love how many zipper pockets it has. The handle part of the backpack is very well made, and I say this because with other backpacks, they usually rip away from the backpack because of the weight that is being carried in the backpack. This handle is very sturdy and is made of strong material. My son doesn't feel any discomfort while carrying it and it functions very well for his school needs. I would highly recommend this backpack and I'm definitely going to keep buying this brand IF he ever needs one for the other school years to come.

(For what it's worth, I'm a real person that paid full-price for these backpacks and am not getting anything for this review) I have three kids in school, and this is our fifth BlueFairy backpack. One was replaced because we needed the larger size, and one was replaced because after three full school years the bottom was starting to develop small holes on the outside. I think it was due to my kid being rough, though, because my other kid is going on year four with his backpack and it still looks new. I've bought a lot of backpacks over the years and these are by far our favorite. The material is tough, they don't get dirty/show dirt, and none of the zippers have ever had any problems. They're big enough to hold everything my 1st/3rd/5th grader needs, including a lunchbox, but small enough for a kindergartener to wear without looking ridiculous. They have a sturdy water bottle pocket on each side, a big pocket for folders/binders/lunchboxes, a medium pocket for a sweatshirt, and a small pocket for snacks. Literally everything we need. Highly recommend!

So I do enjoy this backpack. My son had one very similar to this. We were actually looking for a style very similar to the one he had before because it was holding up really well. He used it 3 years in a row and there was nothing wrong with it. The only reason why we got a new one is because he outgrew the space theme that his old backpack was. So then we found this one and we like the geometric shapes and colors of this. It's pretty great and it seems to be made exactly the same as the one he had before and it holds up really well. For being on the cheaper end of a backpack. I think this is good and since the other one lasted 3 years and this one looks to be the same. I got big hopes and expectations for it. It is lightweight but there are lots of zipper pouches and it fits his back well and it seems to be water resistant enough and it's the right size for him. So overall we are happy with it. I do like that on the side. It's it'll hold his water bottle in better too. The one he had when he was younger had the water bottle holder but it would just sit there and sometimes his water bottle would fall out, especially now that he's upgraded to a normal sized water bottle. So having that tighten on the side is actually very beneficial for us.

I absolutely love these backpacks for my 7 and 9 year old! They are super high quality at a fraction of the price of the name brand ones. All of the zippers are as smooth as butter, which I love! No more zippers getting jammed and making my impatient children pull on them until they break! They also have a lot of space inside. More than enough room for books, binders, lunchboxes, cold weather gear, and water bottles. Each side has a stretchy water bottle pocket which is great so their water doesn’t leak onto school papers and library books. The shoulder straps are very padded and comfortable. Tons of colors and styles to choose from. My absolute favorite backpack so far!
