Nice Harness
Love these harnesses. I have bought 3 in different sizes as my dog has grown. They show little to no wear and tear after months of walks. Easy to put on.

Third Purchase of This Harness
I actually bought the first harness for one of my cats that I thought I might teach to walk on a leash. Well, that didn't work out, but I put it aside and as it turns out I got a little terrier mix puppy that when I brought her home, she was only 6.1 lbs, so the Small harness fit. However, she quickly outgrew her hand-me-down harness, so I upgraded her to a Medium. Outgrew that. She now has a Large. Clearly, I like this harness and the puppy seems to like it also. She turns into a jumping bean when she sees it, because it means a walk or car ride. The harness fits well and I like that it can be adjusted with the Velcro closure. Then there is the extra safety of the buckle. Lastly, I either hook her leash through the double D-rings or hook her car seat lead to the rings. Because the harness distributes the leash pull against her chest, she isn't choking death with the leash pulling her collar against her neck. It's the same thing with the car seat lead and if I have to brake a little hard, she neither chokes or goes flying.I don't recommend doing this to your dog normally, but in an emergency you can yank your dog off the ground and out of harm's way by grabbing the piece across the back (assumes you have a smallish dog and not a bull mastiff!). Your dog will think you have lost it, but it might prevent a larger dog from doing harm as almost happened to us. You can't do that with a collar or you'll choke your dog to death, but I basically dead-lifted her off the ground by grabbing the back strap.Lastly, I would highly recommend measuring your dog's chest for size and don't go by weight. My little girl weights 19 lbs., but has an "athletic" terrier build with a broad chest, so before we upgraded to a large, the Medium Velcro closure barely closed and the harness was too tight with no room to grow.Very happy with this harness. It's well made and my puppy seems to like it.

Mutts don’t like as much as I do.
Although pulling has not been an issue with any of my numerous rescues and take-ins, I have always preferred a harness over a collar. The old type harness no longer available, I thought I’d try this vest type (purchasing 5, 1each XS to XL for fit on my 12 various shape and size dogs) for one particular reason ... no strap nor clip pressuring or rubbing anywhere on the body nor interfering with leg movement. One big plus is this vest Velcros and clips together on the back between shoulders; there are two rings, one on either side of clip, once leash is attached to both rings should both the Velcro closure and clip come apart the vest will remain in proper place on pet.Second, it does not fit against the throat; there is no pressure to choke or injure put on the throat or neck.Fabric has a slight stretch and is somewhat breathable and lightweight. They do run a little small and if between sizes, going up to next size (I found) allowed for just enough wiggle room to get a leg out. I have a small 17 lb. (her midrange target weight) Pug; she required a size Large. The drawback ... these vests are not adjustable to fit another pet larger or smaller. Also, they do not come in the size XXL I need for my three larger dogs (a smaller Am. Bulldog/Pitbull, an Am. Hairless Terrier, an Am. English Coonhound).I’ve just recently received these vests and the only use they will get is when going to the Vet. or when on a trip. The one exception being, Misty, my goat kid who likes to go shopping at our Farmers Coop and Atwoods and wears her vest and leash. As I can not yet comment on the durability nor longevity of these vests I rated them 4 Stars but, thus far, I am pleased with them.

It’s ok
Had gotten this when pup was younger and happy with it. Thought nothing of buying it agin in larger size. 2 problems: buckle at back closure is hard to fit and takes more time to align and snap than previous harness which worked fine. Also, double D- rings are bigger and thicker than seem needed so barely able to fit voyager leash clasp onto them. Afraid that the thin metal of clasp will not hold up to repeated pressure. Otherwise like the harness.

Keep a good grip on your doggo!
A good harness for a good price.I bought this harness for my pup so I could have good control over her when I took her to the beach for the first time (didn't want to lose her to a wave!)I first bought a medium sized harness for her and it was much too small for her. Which is a bit unusual as she is a 7 month old basset hound puppy. That being said, she DOES have a large chest and usually needs larger sized harnesses.I returned the medium and bought her a large. It fit pretty well, but verged on the edge of almost being too small! That being said, she DID fit into the harness. So we clipped her in and took her down to the beach! The harness was very sturdy and provided good coverage for the pup's chest. I was able to keep a good grip on her and she even wore it swimming! The neoprene-like material of the harness reminded me of a wetsuit. It withstood the salt water exposure well and was easy to clean. The Velcro on the back was a bit difficult to fasten, as she was almost too fat for even the large. So I would definitely recommend measuring your doggo before buying one of these babies!Overall, a good product.

Durable
Voyager brand dog harnesses are all we buy. Their sizing is spot on (follow the size guide) and we never fear that somehow our dogs will get out of them. The velcro on the top is adjustable to be sure it's snug. Our original harness was bought over 5 years ago and still is in perfect shape.

Beautiful!
It is a great vest for small dogs. I wish it came in Kelly Green so he can match my new school colors, lol
