Bought for the garden I can give 4 stars. If I'd bought this for the house, as it suggests in the listing, I'd be returning it.It's well made, easy to hang, and looks great. The pockets could be bigger to hold more compost, if I'm being picky. I will probably buy more for the garden.When watering, start at the top pockets as the water will filter through the felt and down in to below pockets. It will also drip a little, understandably.This cannot be used indoors, regardless of what the listing says.

I bought the planter for a bumper crop of strawberries 🍓It was easy to put on my trellis with some cable ties, lots of pockets with room for compost and small plants.They do need a lot of watering even if it rains they tend to still be dry.

Pockets are small and difficult to get plants plante The eyes (support holes) are splitting.

Bought this to creat a strawberry wall and so far so good! Super easy to put up; me as a 5ft 2 terrible at DIY kinda person was able to put it up in about 5 minutes by just putting some screws into the fence and then hanging the planter onto the screws. Followed by filling it up with compost and giving it a good water before then adding the plants in. So far the planes are doing really well however frost may have just taken them; unfortunately I was too slow to tuck a tarp over the planter. However you live and learn and the planter is going well! Def recommend if you are limited for space but want to grow your own. 10/10

Purchased this for use outdoors and in warmer temperatures the felt means all water drains straight through in record time the soil doesn't hold any which resulted in all my plants dying.Would not reccomend

Nothing would stay alive. I think if I used it for plants that survived in shade only it would be okay or maybe used established plants. I couldn’t get anything to survive from seed. It was to hard to keep it continually moist so even if seeds did sprout they died because it actually needed to be watered several times a day which I wasn’t home to do. I am going to try using only starts that have a well developed root system next season and see how that works.

I like the material. There are 8 riveted holes to secure this, so I just used nails. Seems to hold up well with the recent rain storms we've had. 12 pockets for plants. I was originally going to use this for herbs, but I rescued 10 sad primroses for my trial. They are adapting and recovering, being half dead when first placed. They all have new growth.So, it was a little challenging to get the extra soil in there with the flowers. Trying to tuck some in on top and around them was a little frustrating. By the last couple I pretty much had it down. I think I'll order a few more to place along that rickety old fence. It begins color splashes and flowers up to nose level and more eye catching. Definitely more are wanted and needed. There are different size styles but I think for me this is perfect.

I just recently set up my 12 pocket hanging grow bag on my chain link fence. Easy set up, I used zip ties to secure to the fence. It took all of 2 minutes.I've planted a variety of herbs in the pockets, so we'll see how they do. The material seems sturdy, so I hope it holds up during the summer & into the fall. My issue with this item is, I order the 12 pocket on 5/26/22 & received on 5/28/22. I wanted to order another one today, but notice in the 10 days since the last order, the price went up Really!!? So, I'm passing on the purchase & look for something else. Too bad.

I bought several of this type of product. This one was bought because of fit and large pockets. The others I bought had waterproof backing, this one does NOT and the water leaks out of it and I mean LEAKS out instead of down to the lower plants. With a waterproof backing like ALL of the others I bought it would be fine. Lousy product!
