Perfect!!!
This clip on light is absolutely perfect for my diamond art project's! It clamps onto any size desk or table, it's long neck bends any way I need it to, it has both options for yellow and white light, with a dimmer/brighter switch for multiple brightness levels, and at this price point it's a steal!!! I had my first one for 3 years, using it every day for up to 7 hours, before it gave out, I considered that to be adequate, so I bought the same one again and this long, thin, LED light is my favorite I've tried so far (I've tried several different lamps) it's really easy to use, the clamp on the edge of your work space takes up little to no room, the movable neck makes it easy to put the lamp exactly where you want it, and when on its brightest setting in the white light is very strong, which I need it to be, to see all the tiny symbols on the canvas, and all the teeny tiny little diamonds in their little trays!! It's very compact, and light, and very functional, and very good quality!! I'll buy it a third time, if I burn this one out too!! Lol at this price and all it's many great features who wouldn't!! Lol highly recommend!!

Best solution I could find for our Casio Privia
We have a Casio Privia with a cheapo music holder attachment that came with it. Nice sounding piano, but the music holder is such that must music lights do not fit it well. And forget about those that attach to the actual music book itself! Who wants to reset the light every time you turn a page! This light is plenty bright, with adjustable 'color temperature' and clips onto the side of the Previa plastic music holder securely. Not the most elegant looking arrangement, but it gets the job done and is a reasonable price.

Developing a flicker after only a few months.
When new its a real gem, give it a few moths and that seems to change. There are times when the cool white light develops a minor flicker, not all the time, but that usually means that a failure is in the future. Switching to the warmer light, and all is well so far. I love the products neck flexibility, and the 4 lighting variations; high, low, cool, and warm. If it goes out, I might buy another as it's perfect for where I'm using it and it was quite reasonably priced.

Need a portable lamp? Check this one out.
I am learning how to sketch, and not always do I want to be sitting on a desk. Sometimes, I want to sit on the couch and I don't have enough light at night and don't want the big room light shining on the entire room. I like that I can clip this to the sketchbook that I am working on and it works like a charm. It has different buttons with different light strengths and colors on it. I mostly use the brightest one, but I am happy that there are others available.Now... about getting it to turn on. What really attracted this to me is that it has two ways of being charged. 1. by plugging it in to the wall and 2. by USB cable and that can work with a portable charger or somewhere to plug in your USB on it. This gives me the flexibility to work on my craft from anywhere.I like that the clip is strong enough for it to stay on my sketchbook... and it provides sufficient light. I am glad that I waited to get it... because after much research... the fact that it folds and fits easily into my travel sketch bag is a huge plus. AND the price makes it a great bargain.

This light works very well
Does more than I expected it to do also. It has bright white intensity and off-white and it's dimmable and the clamp that holds it on to whatever you're going to clamp it to is amazingly strong. We need a nice little portable light this is it it's a good one.

Perfect for some use but not all
This clip-on light helped with a problem which was increasing visibility of a small calculator display which I use for chemistry exams, homeworks, etc. The LCD display is sensitive to light angle, if not correct, it is hard to read. It seems to need a diffuse overhead light preferably - my desk has lighting coming in from low angles, making the calculator display darkened. This clip-on light does a good job of lighting the work area in front of me including the calculator. The long light bar keeps the light diffuse to prevent hot-spot glare off the calculator. However, it is not an ideal solution for me. This light is bright enough if you clip it on the desk and position the light about a foot over your work, so it is below your vision in front of you, blocking some of the work surface. I'm okay with it for my use, it is just out of the way to not block the keyboard or my worksheets, but it is right there in front of me. I would prefer to, say, clip it on my monitor or some higher place to get it above head level. However, it frankly is not bright enough for that. Your surface would be marginally lit enough with just the light alone at a high level. Another thing is that the light bar actually gets quite warm and gives off a fair amount of heat, even though I measured the wattage at the power module as 7.5 watts. Fine on cold days, but my office gets very warm in the summer and the heat is noticeable from this lamp. Again, if it were bright enough and had a long enough neck to position it above your head the heat would rise and probably not be noticeable. Another con is that there is no swivel action of the light bar on the neck, you have to basically twist the whole neck if you need to angle the light, which doesn't feel safe. The pros are the fairly even lighting and the extra lighting modes, including a dim setting and a warm color setting, and the general lightness making it easier to move from place to place and squeeze into tight spaces. The control switch is on the cord, about a foot down from the clip, so you need to position that accordingly. There is a power module that plugs into the wall outlet thin enough to not block adjacent outlets on a power strip but might block a lower outlet on a square outlet extender. The cord is about 5 feet long, okay but not super generous.Overall it solves my problem and is fairly reasonably priced, so I give it 5 stars. I will say that I built a small LED light with 4 LEDs that is about as bright and lower power and almost no heat, but it is not as diffuse so this bar light seems best for now. I probably would prefer a similar design to this but with double the gooseneck length, brighter light, and longer light bar.

Not much light
I wasn't sure about using 2 star or 3, so did give a 3 star rating. The light works, but it's not very bright at all. I'm sure it's bright enough to read in bed with, but not much more. Not what I was looking for - 280 lumens isn't much when spread over the length of the light.
