Thoughful and inspring work
This is a powerful book that adds a new dimension to addressing attachment injuries. It is so helpful for anyone who is caring for a child with these issues, whether you are a therapist or caregiver. Parents and caregivers may also want to read Catherine Young's other book, "Understanding Attachment Injuries in Children and How to Help." These books really get to the heart of the matter, and provide tools for helping children and their families.

An excellent resource for understanding and treating attachment injury.
This book clearly and concisely presents the necessary background information to understand and help recognize attachment injury in children. It goes on to provide an easy to follow framework for working with attachment injured children and their guardian to help heal and allow the child to form secure attachments moving forward. With the prevalence of attachment injury in early childhood, I would recommend this book to any therapists working with children and would recommend Young's other book "Understanding Attachment Injuries in Children and How to Help" to anyone working with children in a non therapeutic capacity.
