Great for barefoot training
Great for barefoot training, true to the number size, the quality is very good, love the color. I train CrossFit with them, running feels comfortable. Amazing for lifting. Liked them so much that I bought a second pair.

I would wait until the next model.
I gave it four stars, and I am happy overall. However, I do regret buying these. The insert in the shoe constantly moves around to the point it is very annoying. I have bought previous versions of these shoes, and I will buy more in the future. They are so lightweight, and they look great. I put over 1,000 running miles on my last pair, and they are still useable. I just wish the insert in these was not so annoying.

Buyer beware
This is my second pair of inov8 shoes. I absolutely loved the first pair. They fit like second skin and were extremely comfortable and went beyond all my expectations for a zero drop shoe. This was my replacement pair and they fit slightly smaller than the first. The insole slid around so much that made the shoe unwearable and extremely annoying to have to remove the shoe, fix the sole and attempt to try again. Needless to say I gave up. I attempted to return the shoe stating that it was defective in hopes to exchange for another pair. I was not refunded or offered an exchange but instead received a notice stating that the shoe was "damaged" (in other words worn) and did not meet the standards for a return. I have not had a good experience with this shoe or the seller.

Mediocre so far.
So. The shoes fit and we’re not too small even though Amazon suggested I buy a size larger than usual, although the toe box is narrow so if you need a wide shoe this is not the one for you. I went with the more expensive option this time after my last buy was the WHITIN trail runners for $40ish bucks. After having these shoes for about two months, they’re nearly the same as the much cheaper WHITINs. Although I did buy these specifically because a few reviews said that they last for a very long time and many miles of running, and my WHITINs wore through the soles after a few months. So I may update the rating to higher if they last longer than them. As for these shoes, you can step on stones on the road without pain like the Merril vapor glove fours ( that HURT to step on stones with those) so the bottom is thick enough to protect the foot but yet you still feel the ground. The main thing I dislike about these is that the soles both come out and I am unable to get them to not slowly ride back toward the heel of the shoe as I walk or run. I always have to stop walking or running and take the shoe off, place the insole back into its proper position, which is so annoying I just removed them completely. But other than that, they’re great barefoot shoes so far, just wish I’d have gone with the WHITINS again for a third of the price.

It's True
I can't ding these shoes because I love the way they're styled and although they're on the narrow end, they are shaped to not pinch your toes. That being said, if you have a wide foot they may not be your best bet. But what several reviewers have said is true, the insole rides up on your heel and you can feel the gap with your toes. It's very irritating and I haven't come up with a solution yet, but I do really like the shoes and if the insole is not a deal breaker for you, I'd recommend them.

The insoles don't fit the shoe
The shape and feel of the shoe is great, but the original insole doesn't fit in the shoe. While barefoot or in socks, the insole slides up the heel of the shoe and my toes hang over the insole. It's far too annoying to deal with while working out. I'm speaking with Inov8 now to address it, but they're likely going to be returned. Many other reviewers have stated the same thing. I underestimated how bad it could be.

Comfortable minimalist shoes with terrific grip
Great fit and great traction in these minimalist shoes. They feel awesome in the gym and provide a lot of confidence with complex movements.

Took me long enough to discover this ...
Using it for my lifts (power-lifting). Also quite enjoy walking around with it. Zero-drop.

Barefoot shoes
I do like these shoes but like many other reviews, I can confirm that the inner sole slips back as you wear them. I kind of got used to it but it’s annoying. I use them for CrossFit and like them. The toes could use a little more padding for use as a CrossFit shoe but it’s likely perfectly fine for any other use.

Not wide enough for BF
Look well made, but not really big enough in the toe box to be a minimalist shoe
