I love this. Must follow directions to get floss to hold tight. Many reviews complained that it was difficult but I was successful first try. But I am older and always read directions... I thought the flat floss would be a problem because it is slippery but not a problem when stung correctly. Nicestrong tool. Small enough to fit well in back of mouth. I have arthritis and this really saves my fingers. I actually use less floss because using my fingers was always a mess and had to keep getting new floss. Anyway I will keep this near by and finally floss daily to keep my dentist happy.

The space that holds the floss is too small so that when you’re using it, it loses tension.

I used a floss holder a long time ago and I liked it a lot. I think it broke or something after I had used it for years. I started using the Reach Flosser, but lately I’ve been having trouble getting the refills for it. I decided to order this one that uses regular floss. I thought it would be similar to the one I had many years ago.This one is very hard to get the floss onto. It doesn’t stay tight and it usually ends up coming completely off. Sometimes I don’t even through flossing my top teeth and I have to put a new strand of floss on. I’m not very satisfied.

One of the items was in a sealed package. The other two had both been opened and it looked as if the items had been used, returned, then sent to us. We want to keep the one that was unopened, but the other two will be trashed because we don’t know if they are useable or not.The one we can use works really well and our 5 year old loves it. The floss is tight and it’s easy to hold. No slipping.

I know other reviews had mentioned that the floss loosened over time or it was hard to keep the floss on but for me I never really had that issue. Maybe they didn't wind it up right, used too little of floss so it wasn't able to anchor itself properly maybe; I don't know. For me it's been working beautifully and it's made flossing so much nicer and easier for me. I used to buy floss picks and now I don't have to; I get to save some money and also reduce how much plastic I use!

I was looking for a better no-waste alternative to the Listerine reach floss stick. Unfortunately, with my small mouth and tight teeth, it was too much of a struggle as my floss kept getting stuck in my back teeth and when I would pull it, the floss would come loose and made it less effective to use. I had to keep rewrapping it.

These floss holders are very similar to the Reach or Listerine (pictured) daily flossers, but the handle is a bit shorter. I love being able to use any floss I like, and throwing out less plastic, as it's a simple re-usable handle.My teeth are very close together, to the point that my hygienist won't floss between some of them- she leaves those to me. So, only Glide floss slides easily between my teeth without shredding- and I can use that with this handle. Further, since my teeth are so close together, I end up really tightly wrapping the floss around my fingers to work with it by hand, or I can be more comfortable with a floss holder. I have also tried (and really like) the Floss Aid (pictured to the right, in white) for the same reasons. I would have just stayed with the Floss Aid, but my kids wanted floss holders- but they feel like the Floss Aid is too big. Well, if the smaller handle makes them want to floss more often, I'm ok with that.If you are a typical sized adult, you'll probably be fine with the less expensive "Floss Aid" as my hygienist also has told me that I have a really tiny mouth. I have no idea, really. But I know that I don't find any style of these things to be too large- any of them makes it much easier for me to comfortably floss my super-close together teeth.The only things I don't like about this flosser (on the left, in purple) is that I mis-read the listing and expected 4 handles instead of 3, and the end of the handle is just a bit too large to fit into my ceramic toothbrush holder. Neither is a deal-breaker, though.In my opinion, either of the two re-usable floss handles are great, just slightly different in design.

There are instructions on how to add the floss to this flosser but even so the floss does not stay on. I've tried multiple different techniques and tightness but it doesn't work well at all. I continue to try and use it but I end up getting fed up and just use the floss with my fingers.

This is very fiddly and not great if you want to use tape style floss. The floss keeps coming off and although once on it makes flossing easy it's more hassle than it's worth!

Meh, not a fan honestly. Really wanted to love it. It is really frustratingly large, and awkward. Ended up going back to regular one use. If you are willing to be extreamly patient with it you are better than me lol
