Very disappointed; arrived with fold lines
I was anxiously awaiting for this to arrive as I have just started learning about free motion quilting and I thought this would be a good tool to help me. When it arrived, I took it out of the plastic and since it wasn't in a firm tube, it had fold lines in it when I unrolled it. I thought it just needed to "relax" for a few days and so I laid it out flat. There's been no improvement. Since the folds do not cling to my machine bed, it is pretty much useless. I'm going to return it for a refund.

Comparative to Supreme slider
Less expensive than the supreme slider. Not as heavy as the slider, but works wonderfully

Great product and great price!
I have a smaller BROTHER sewing machine, so this was a bit large for my rig... I was able to easily trim to size with scissors (as per instructions) and amazed at how much more easily my quilts move when free motion quilting! The pad adheres to the sewing surface of the machine, much like a window cling/decal, and lifts up easily for removal. Make sure you keep the paper from the pkg to protect the "sticky" side. :) I have a drop in bobbin machine, so I can easily lift up the sheet and replace the bobbin, smooth the sheet out again and continue on.I don't find the product flimsy - I think it's definitely great quality, and for the price - in comparison to what other brands cost - this purchase is a no-brainer. I will likely order one or two more to keep on reserve!

Makes quilting sew much easier!
I was struggling with my fabric not moving smoothly when free motion quilting on my domestic machine. With this sheet the fabric now glides effortlessly, making it a joy to do my quilting. It was a little big for my machine but was very easy to trim down the 1/2" needed. Get it! You won't regret it.

Very good quality and very good for smooth quilting
Very good quality and very good for smooth quilting. I have two, since I use one for when I travel and sew and one I keep at home. Love the large size. I also keep mine rolled up in the original paper it came with (or you can use freezer paper) and store it in a used card board tube from the paper towels or the tinfoil. It keeps it nice and smooth when I am finished sewing and quilting.

Can't recommend it to anyone.
I ordered this mat during the summer but only just this week had a chance to experiment with it so I could review it for my quilting guild. I was disappointed. As soon as I started trying to free motion quilt with it I kept feeling the quilt's fabric "drag" and "hesitate" as I tried to move it around. It kept throwing off my rhythm and design. I switched over to my Queen Supreme Slider was able to move around my quilt like it was floating across smooth ice. I'd really hoped to like the Sewslip, and saw on a youtube video that it was recommended by The Man Quilter, but I can't recommend it to anyone. It is tackier and does cling to my machine bed better than the Queen Supreme Slider-- the reviews on this site saying the mat clings so well it doesn't have to be taped down are what prompted me to try it...I have to tape down my QSS with green painter's tape-- as well as the claims that it is "durable," and it is (I've torn my QSS to the point where it is almost worn out). But when it comes to being "useful" for free motion quilting, I've found it to be far less superior than the Queen Supreme Slider. Eventually I hope to order the "new" and "improved" version of the QSS, but for now I'm a bit sick over how much I paid for the SewSlip. The only thing I can use it for is to protect my ironing board cover when I am using spray starch on some fabric or when I'm ironing fusibles for appliques, I guess.
