I've been wearing this on my ankle continuously now for several months, it still looks brand new and it's not creating a black ring around my ankle. I have real gold and I thought this would be a waste of money, but it looks similar to white gold and the thought of losing it or breaking it is less concerning when you don't pay thousands of dollars. I am female, women's anklets are too delicate and break.
