Yes... it's wood you can adhere just about anything with the proper glue.

Q: Would this be good to woodburn on?

Not sure. Top layer is pretty thin.

Q: still needs to be sealed before priming? or do they have an acid free protection layer already?

Definitely needs to be sealed first...unless, as I do, you are executing a painting that the wood feel might enhance. Good surface, however, sealed or not.
