Tefal Pure Tex Handheld Clothes Steamer, 1700 W, 200ML, Blue & White, DT9530

OMG this is so good. I have been using a cheap nasty steamer for years that always left water marks in my clothes so I decided to spend a bit more money…I’m glad I did. This packs a good punch of steam, has different heads for steaming, cleaning etc. the only downside is that it’s heavy so you definitely wouldn’t want to put this in your suitcase but is absolutely perfect for me at home, in the caravan, when we so self catering in the UK. It’s a quality piece of kit.

This is well made and looks cool. Easy to use and produces a lot of steam. If you wanted to do a lot of clothes you would have to wait for it to cool before refilling the water tank which is on the small side. Still, I bought this for the odd thing which I don’t want to iron so about 4 shirts is ok. Also it doesn’t drip! Overall a good purchase.

Fabulous piece of kit so easy to use. Only thing is in my opinion you need a stand

I purchased this brand new from Amazon but it was faulty. There was an airlock in the system that, despite following all instructions, wouldn't pass and we couldn't get any steam. We sent it back and were sent a replacement - which had obviously been used/returned already as it had signs of wear/tear. I did consider whether my star rating was bias because of the fault of amazon of replacing a brand new full price but faulty item returned the day after it was delivered with something used - but there are the following points. I did try the working item out before returning because it was already clearly used and I wasn't sure whether to waste time trying for a third. 1. There is only enough steam per canister to really drop out half the mild creases from a ladies shirt. You couldn't steam anything substantial with this. 2. I've used professional steamers before and they replace irons, as I now struggle to get an ironing board up/down I was hoping to be able to use this in place of an iron for at least some things to reduce the frequency of wrestling with the ironing board - it's just not good enough. Baring in mind I hang dry clothing and most of the creases drop out that way, it's still just not up to the job. 3. It's much too heavy, the heating unit and the water are all in the one device, one shirt (half done) was enough to make my shoulder and wrist really ache. So in a nutshell, it didn't work because it was air locked and needed specialist equipment to release the lock, the replacement (overlooking Amazon sent me a used one) wasn't up to the job I was hoping it would do and was heavy/cumbersome/limited in scope to use.

Good products, needs regular refilling but the different steamer covers are a cool feature

I love this! I find it so easy to give clothes a quick blast to get the creases out. I am not a fan of ironing, and this is so much easier and doesn't leave shiny patches or more creases. I use it all the time and have also used it for steam cleaning upholstery, which worked very well too. I then cleaned the dirt off the cleaning attachment with a small brush and washing up liquid and it is as good as new again. Very pleased with purchase, would highly recommend to fellow ironing avoiders.
