WoW!!! This simple Raishi Colander  Raishi Stainless Steel Colander for Easy Cleaning - 5 Quart High Grade Guaranteed. Best Metal Colander.  is waaaay beyond all expectation. The wife and I are stunned to see such exemplary craftsmanship in this colander. Shiny stainless-steel of substantial durability much greater than a finer mesh of lesser materials would be. The handles are industrially riveted on and there is a stainless-steel ring on bottom to elevate the colander from the drained liquid. Not just little insignificant feet. Our other colander got away to kids but they needed something setting up new housekeeping. This colander is taller by a little than many others of this capacity. Perfect for draining pasta. We have used the colander twice so far. The positives far out way my concerns. It is easy to clean and dries quickly...so much better than the small holed and mesh strainers! That was huge with my husband my sous chef and dishwasher. The base is up out of the sink and that is another biggie. It drained over two pounds of pasta. Things at the bottom got a little sticky though but once added to the sauce it was okay. I think it would be nice if you put the measurements so people know for sure if they got the 5 or 6 quart or at least the amount on the label. Small I know but I wondered if I got the correct size until all the pasta fit. Thank you for your great colander! We really liked it!

This is a great product! Beautifully made with stainless steel that is not only very functional but looks great on our counter! Our old colander had a rolled rim on it and it always would trap water in there and never dried out properly. This unit has a very smooth natural rim and base so there's no chance of water getting caught anywhere. We are really Very happy with this colander and would Highly recommend it.We also received a follow up inquiry from the owner of the company to see if we were satisfied with his product. Imagine that...a company that cares about its customers! Now that's a business you want to deal with.

It’s nice. Good quality. Only thing I don’t like is that when you drain pasta or whatever, the water in the bottom center holes goes right down the drain. But whatever spills out the sides takes forever to make its way down the drain because the base kinda seals the water in the sink from going down the drain.

We are very pleased with this colander. Me and my husband own a small restaurant in Wisconsin. My husband is the cook and had mentioned on several occasions that he needed a larger colander to drain both cooked potatoes and also washed fruit. The handle on the cheap colander he was using eventually broke so I searched for a new one that was both larger and made to withstand daily use in the kitchen.I found and ordered this colander. Wow, it is big enough for all my husbands needs and appears very well made. My husband says it is perfect.....thank you. This colander has made my husbands job so much easier and in this case a happy cook makes me a happy wife.

The colander arrived a couple of days ago. It seems to be well-made and it's quite attractive._______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Well, a couple of months have passed and I'm not so happy.You see, the weld points that connect the basket to it's stand *have begun to rust*. Not so good for stainless steel, no? I don't think that this development will affect the life of the colander, nor is a hazard. It's just disappointing. So it gets no steenkin' five stars, I'm dropping it to four.

This colander is really nice because it has the stand on the bottom so it's not soaking in the sink and whatever you're pouring out. The stand is definitely high enough that you can pour out an entire pot of pasta and the pasta doesn't touch the water if you're pouring at a reasonable rate. It feels quite sturdy and I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

I'm very pleased with the colander. I had another stainless steel colander for years which was a different design - no standing feet and a long handle. Eventually the handle broke off, which is why I needed a new colander. The new one is a better design than the old one as it can stand on its own on the draining board and it's easier to store as it doesn't have an awkward long handle. I prefer stainless steel as I feel it's more robust than some other materials - better for draining hot foods like pasta. The colander is a really good size, with plenty of room for draining a pan of spaghetti or for cleaning a big lettuce. That's what I was looking for and I am not disappointed.

This is the best Colander I have ever had. After a lot of research and reading of all kinds of product reviews I was attracted by the superb customers' comments on this colander. Order was made intermediately and received promptly. After few weeks' experience I have to say it is a robust built piece of kitchen equipment.

Exactly what I have been looking for. A nice size and sturdy metal colander. Particularly like the way the handles are revetted onto the main part. Much better than the 'melamine' which splits and better than plastic which eventually stains. Can't be bad with a two year guarantee.

Overall pretty good. It is pretty big, maybe a wee bit big for me - batchelor boy; but will be good for washing kurly kale, lettuce leaves, pak choy; and all those carbs that need draining. Good in the summer for washing all those Mary berries. I like the design and shape: more upwards and taller than short and broad. So plenty of depth. So well done to its creator. No real regrets. Good for families and would cope easily with a large cauliflower. Received a positive email from supplier saying I will contact you soon to see how I am getting along with it - nice touch.
