This was a perfect replacement for an Altec Lansing ALP-L2200. (Might also include Gemini GSP-L2200PK) Altec no longer supports the L2200 speakers. A multimeter showed the old blown woofer was .40 meaning 4 ohms, this woofer fits, and operates well and the clarity sounds perfect, maybe better than the original. Install took me less than 10 minutes with an allen wrench and screwdriver. Looks better in the enclosure than the old silver one IMO.

Installed to replace a busted/dropped speaker. These sound way better than what was in there from the factory (different brand/manufacturer). Would use again if needed. Good speaker. Great sound.

Used this speaker to replace a speaker that was cutting out at higher volumes on a Harbinger vari 4115 loud speaker. It installed vary easy using existing hole pattern. Sound is surprisingly good for the price. I would not hesitate to use this speaker again for this application.

not sure if it can handle the 1500 it claims, as with a KM750 it starts to "fart" alot when driven near the amps clip. but for 50$, it handles quite nicely. i slapped it in my 310 liter/11.1cuft box and it does quite well as a subwoofer, easily as good as my Skar 15" i previously had in it. will likely be picking up 2 more, or if the 18's come back in stock 2 of those to slap into a massive 22Cuft box. im quite sure they will provide that "kick to the chest" feeling that a good speaker does.

I bought a really cheap pair of Jensen 3-way 15" speakers about 20 years ago. Somewhere along the way, long ago, I replaced the 15" drivers with equivalent Jensen parts when they both blew. Recently I decided I wasn't satisfied with the sound, particularly on the low end, so I replaced both 15" with these. Wow. I wish I had done this YEARS ago. These things are MONSTERS. Awesome, clean, heavy bass. These are putting out crystal sound at 10 where the previous drivers would have cracked up at 5. Super happy. My getting-drunk-after-work loud music episodes are much more cathartic now. I did adjust some amp settings to tone down the bass a bit because it was overwhelming at first, but that very well could have been because the previous drivers were lacking. The original mid- and treble- drivers are still going strong and meld just fine with these upgrades.
