Stanbroil 10-Pound Fire Glass Diamonds - 1/2 inch Luster Fire Glass for Fireplace Fire Pit and Landscaping, Amber Luster

We bought this in June 2017 so it's two years old. We burn on a 50,000 BTU propane gas fire table and have no problems with cracking or smell. We use during summer through fall a few times per month. We really enjoy the color and look of this as opposed to the lava rock that came with the table. We put the 10 lb glass diamonds on top of the lava rock so there is full coverage with no lava rock showing. Maybe having the lava rock on the bottom helps avoid the cracking that many of the reviewers comment about. I would definitely recommend.

These are the slickest fire pit glass rocks that I've ever put in my gas fire pit. All these rocks closer to 1" in size.In addition to these my fire pit contains around 20 large clear crystals that are about 3" in irregular size and along with a 10lb bag of 1/2' cobalt blue cashew type glass rocks.When the fire is lit these rocks give an illusion of the glass melting.Really nice appearance with or without a fire going.

Loved the look of the Glass Diamonds in my fire pit. Purchased 20lb and it was enough to fill my fire pit and a small table top unit. The bonus is the glass heats up more than the lava rocks so they both give more heat than they did before. As a note the glass also stays hot longer so you need to be aware of that when trying to cover after shutting off the gas.

Super product and very good value I love the way even the darker color “sparkles”

It really sparkles with just a candle in it! I can’t wait till I get the insert part. Mixing up a white birch ceramic logs on top of this beautiful Caribbean blue rocks. I’m thinking buying green to change up the look seasonally.

I don't know much about this type of product, I needed something for my daughter's wedding centerpiece's that was safe near candles and attractive. this fit the bill. It is tempered glass, so "clear" does not mean "clear" it has a slightly greenish cast to it. Not a big deal to us.The pieces are uniform in size. They were shipped inside a box, double bagged in heavy plastic.

We added this fire glass to our fire pit and it looks beautiful. It is reflective during daylight hours as well as with a fire. The display pictures were accurate and the price was very reasonable. I would 100% recommend this glass.

They are a lot more blue than they look in the title picture. Basically blue glass with a black coating that burns off at high temp.We put these in our fire table, but if we run the table for more than an hour many start to crack.They don't explode so it's not really unsafe, but the visual effect of the large diamonds starts to get lost if you don't remove all the broken shards.

I purchased this because the I wanted to top off the ones I bought last year but they were no longer available. These were not as near good quality as the others, So many have cracked and broken. I had to empty my pit and put these ones on the bottom and the ones I used last year on top so they dont show. Very disappointed in this product

We bought the “Onyx Black” version of these. We love them but I had to deduct a star because the description isn’t entirely accurate. While the description claims that the glass will appear blue in some lighting… these are actually just plain blue. They don’t just appear subtly blue in some lighting.Fortunately, we lucked out as we had just bought a blue outdoor rug to go under our fire table and everything matches very nicely. We love the appearance of these in daylight and also at night as they beautifully reflect the firelight.

Stanbroil Reflective Fire Glass Diamonds look great. I haven't used the fire place yet, but the first impression is great. One observation: we've ordered two 10 pound bags of the same type and color. Unfortunately, we received one bag with the color we wanted and the second bag had different color. I gave 5 stars based on the product quality. I gave 3 stars for the "Light Weight" category, as the fire glass diamonds are not light, but I think that is to be expected for glass.

They are very lovely looking and sparkle quite nicely in the firelight, but they do crack and break if resting on the actual propane burner. We have placed them in our round patio fireplace and enjoy the ambience they create but be sure to buy 20 lbs to fill the space. I suspect a BBQ may even require 30 lbs
