This umbrella provides shade for one person, and is perfect for grassy areas. It is lightweight and easy to put up. The tripod and spikes secure it and tolerates some wind without blowing over. It also has a screw-in base for the beach, but I have not tried it. This is the second umbrella we have purchased. The first is a few years old and fine; it just didn’t provide enough shade for two.

I purchased this due to the portability function and it was a good choice. I purchased it to paint by the shed, but it is easily packed for the Beach, camping, kids games or anywhere. I admit I did not pay attention to the cup holders, but they are fantastic and I have used the clamp portion to hold my crochet bag. This was a good investment, is stable and withstands pretty high winds.Edit, I didn't notice that the umbrella portion is ripped and the splines are broken.

I LOVE it! I've lived in AZ for over 30 years and live to work in the yard. It's always sunny here and quite hot but it's hard to have shade when I am constantly moving around the yard. This is THE VERY BEST PORTABLE SHADE I have ever had! The wind did take it into my pool once and it was fine even though it was at the bottom. Regular gold size or patio umbrellas are usually broken and torn! I recommend it to everyone who needs portable shade!

Absolutely obsessed with with this umbrella! This was exactly what I was looking for. Small enough to put outside to block the sun when sitting on chase lounges. Super easy to put together. Comes with a really nice storage bag. It’s very sturdy and well made. Well worth the price.

We had a beach play date with our friends and the umbrella did exactly as we hoped! We love that it has a base that works like a tripod except more sturdy and also the option to screw the pole into the sand. On this day we used the feet and it held up fine even though it was somewhat breezy. I would still recommend sand bags to hold the feet down for extra security though. Also the fact that the height of the pole can be extended really high and can be angled at your convenience was an amazing feature. We changed the angle of the umbrella depending on where the sun was moving without really having to move the entire umbrella. Very easy to setup and break down. Compact and portable makes it convenience for the park too! This is not just a beach umbrella. It is a portable everywhere anytime umbrella! Very versatile and provides great much needed shade this hot summer season.

Very disappointed. Worked well until a gust of wind hit us during my son’s baseball game. It split easily. Purchased it May 18th and it’s already ruined.Wasn’t used as a porch umbrella. Wasn’t left out in the yard or the hot sun. Was put away properly the 8 times I got to use it. Meaning the umbrella in the sleeve separate from the metal stand.And it still didn’t last at all. Out $70+ dollars with no money to buy replacement parts or get a new one. Company won’t help either. So I’m stuck with an umbrella that has a hole.
