This mirror is wonderful - really good quality. It is so pretty and dresses up my vanity. Nice heavy base to keep it from tipping but not too heavy to pick up and bring closer if necessary. Easily assembled - you basically just have to screw the base on. The images provided are crisp and clear on BOTH sides. I hesitated buying this because a lot of these mirrors have a bit of distortion of the image on the magnified side. But not this one and I am thrilled. The size of this mirror is PERFECT. I can see my whole face at once (sometimes not a good thing after a hard day - LOL!!!). Makes makeup application easier when you can see both sides of your face - you can get everything nice and even. I would definitely recommend this mirror and this particular seller. They have contacted me twice regarding this transaction making sure I am happy with my purchase. Nice touch.

First off let me say that this mirror is beautiful. But I had to give it 3 stars because I feel it is not 5x magnifying.

Don't buy this mirror! If I could return the one I received I would. It IS easy to put together, and it's relatively sturdy. However, the reason I bought this mirror is for the 5X magnifying side, so I could put on my makeup. And sadly THAT mirror has such terrible distortion that it really isn't usable for my purpose. If I wanted a regular mirror I already have that in my bathroom. I needed this one for it's magnifying properties. So if YOU are looking for a mirror to put on makeup with DO NOT BUY THIS MIRROR. The distortions in it will drive you crazy, too!

Great mirror with simple lines and easy to wipe down to clean. Perfect for makeup application and if you need to tweeze stray hairs. The bottom is weighted just enough that it never falls over and swivels easily even with one hand. The magnification allows it to be the perfect height for standard bathroom vanity counter tops.

I needed a higher magnifying mirror than the one I already had , which was 3X magnifying power.When I received the new mirror and compared to the 3X power my 3X was much better. So I don't think the new one was 5X. I returned it.Was very nice looking mirror but power was not good.

I really like this mirror – the magnification and size are just right for what I use it for. The ones with higher magnification look like a fun house mirror to me. It also is a great fit for my bathroom, that has brushed stainless steel fixtures, which this mirror matches perfectly. Both the mirror and the stand are high quality and should last a long time. Highly recommend!

This is a high quality mirror at a great price. I bought one for home a while ago and love it. I just purchased a second one which was shipped to CA where I visit family a few times a year. It's hard to find the 5x magnification in local stores, most are 8x or 10x. Another reason to love Amazon.
