THE PERFECT SPREAD WITHOUT THE HOSPITAL TRIP
What can I say, I'm in love! I used to love peanut butter, but over the years my nut allergy worsened to dangerous levels. It's like a peanut could have whispered by a food product and my throat would know.My friend told me that sunflower butter existed and I was curious yet cautious. I was worried it may be a tub full of liquid sunflower goop, like some other peanut butter alternatives, but holy wow it's NOTHING close to it.It has the consistency and even a bit of a similar smell of perfectly smooth and creamy peanut butter, but without the peanuts!I'm not gonna lie, my throat was awfully confused at first and felt itchy until my body processed it was nut free. Bodies are weird, but at least it was a temporary mental thing. Putting it out there for anyone who may try it and scatter for the epipen. It's completely peanut free and made in a peanut free facility. All of the tastiness with none of the hospital stay.As for the price, it's not cheap. I'm not gonna BS you, the price compared to regular peanut butter is fairly steep, especially given the size.If your a parent or guardian looking for an affordable alternative for you or your kiddos, I can't say this is it. I'm poor myself and I always try to find that balance of good food for a good price. I can imagine a few extra mouths to feed and allergies to look out for would be even more of a strain. However, for me I set aside enough to afford it each month, so it hasn't hurt my pockets too bad. My only big complaint is the size. I wish they had bigger containers for a better value. I go through at least 2 containers a month and that's all by myself. The one size offered just isn't enough for a whole month.Pros and Cons aside, I recommend it if you can work it into your budget!

Safe Alternative To Peanut Butter At Reasonable Price
This is a great product at a great price, if you are looking for a replacement for peanut butter. I first purchased this at a health food store and paid well over the $6.99 price offered by Amazon. When I first opened it, I found some settling of oil on the top, and I found that if you don't mix it before use you will end up with a small dry mass at the bottom when the product is consumed. However, it isn't the tedious messy mixing required with natural peanut butter, and I found that my second jar remained mixed. SunButter is a little creamier than peanut butter, and a little bit "runnier". I don't know how it would fare as a substitute in peanut butter cookies, for example. As far as the taste, I would recommend that you think "sunflower seeds" when you take your first bite. For the most part it tastes like peanut butter, but the sunflower seed aftertaste might be off-putting if you aren't expecting it. Otherwise, it is a very pleasant mouthful. My doctor has me on a weight loss program, and one of the steps was introducing peanut butter. SunButter has 16g of fat, 4 gms of sugar and 7 gms of carbohydrates as does peanut butter, but slightly less salt. Sliced apples and SunButter is my go-to snack. There is always a couple of tablespoons of SunButter in a single-serve Rubbermaid container in my lunch box when I go to work. As a school nurse with multiple students who have allergies to peanut butter, I would recommend this as a safe alternative. I gave a sample to a co-worker whose daughter is highly allergic to peanut butter, and it was a hit with every member of her family.

A heavenly treat.
I am absolutely in love with Chocolate SunButter! This delightful spread has become a staple in my household, and I can't rave about it enough. It combines the perfect blend of rich cocoa and savory sunflower butter, creating a taste that is truly out of this world.Having been a Nutella fan for years, I was hesitant to try something new, but Chocolate SunButter has completely won me over! Not only is it more flavorful, but it also provides a healthier alternative. Unlike Nutella, which relies heavily on palm oil and sugar, Chocolate SunButter's ingredients are more natural and nutritious. It's a guilt-free indulgence that I can enjoy every day without feeling weighed down or unhealthy. The texture is just as satisfying as the taste - it's smooth and creamy, making it incredibly easy to spread on toast, waffles, or even fruit. I've also used it as a dip for pretzels and as a frosting for cupcakes, and it never disappoints. It's versatile and can elevate any snack or dessert.Another aspect that I truly appreciate is that Chocolate SunButter is allergy-friendly, as it's free of tree nuts and peanuts. This makes it a wonderful option for those with food allergies or anyone looking for a more inclusive treat to share with friends and family. In summary, Chocolate SunButter has become my new favorite spread, and it has effortlessly dethroned Nutella in my pantry. It's a delicious, nutritious, and versatile treat that I cannot recommend highly enough. If you're on the fence about trying it, trust me - you won't be disappointed! Five stars all the way!

Little sunflower flavor, grainy texture
I gave it 3 stars as perhaps this is personal taste but at first all you get is strong overpowering chocolate flavor and after a while trying to find the flavor you get a slight after taste of sunflower butter that can't compete with the chocolate. Disappointing. The texture is OK. A little grainy but then again I only took one taste as I wasn't looking for a chocolate spread with a touch of sunflower but at least equal seed flavor. Grainy was my first impression.
