Picked these up for a macropad so I could have keys that showed what I needed them for. You can tell by the photo the difference between the basic plastic ones that come with the pad and these nice stainless steel ones. Helps they sound pretty nice with Cherry MX Browns. Took a bit of fiddling to get them on right, but once they were they look and function perfectly.

Metal caps were not properly size, the cross for the switches was cut too precise to dimension so that once you get the key only it and press it once or twice it is forever lodged on and cannot be removed without damaging the switch.

These are clearly not stainless steel but some kind of aluminum which you can tell by the machining underneath. They messed up the surface of the cherry switches trying to fit them on, so also clearly not designed or smoothed down correctly.

Do not buy this unless you want to strip the cherry + and or break it entirely!!

I am a lefty, and when it comes to gaming, I use a lefty mouse in conjunction with the arrows on the keyboard. The original caps on my Roccat Vulcan developed wear marks on the bottom, which soon turned into chips. These steel caps will likely not have this problem. They are metal, and the inlays are actually cut-outs (absolutely no chance of wearing-off). I am VERY happy with these!
