Fits well, haven't raced in it yet
This suit feels so nice and fast. I got the suit in a size 26, I'm 6'0 (184cm) with a waist size of 32. My training suit is a 32 low jammer. When I'll race in this suit, I will say my comments. UPDATE: After completing 5 races (200m free, 100m free, 50m free, 100m IM, 100M Fly). I am very happy with the suit; I have dropped monstrous times, grabbed 2-10 second PB's. Overall, I felt like a superhero; I was gliding through the water like never before. I would, therefore, 100% recommend it to any swimmer looking to buy this suit; the reasons are listed above, plus, it is very affordable (I got mine for $150).

disappointed because the waist band frayed
Disappointed because the waist band frayed. I e mailed the company waiting for their reply. This company is very professional. They gave me options and I chose the most convenient for me. I am giving them five stars.

Honestly, I got this color because another swimmer had it and mentioned it was on sale. Sure enough, this color seemed to always be on sale. But my 13-year-old son loves it and performs really well in his swim. It also hasn't degraded that quickly.

To be completely honest, although this suit has some downsides—just like any tech suit—it is still my number one pick. It strikes an amazing balance of flexibility, durability, price, and compression, and I am truly impressed. I highly recommend it, especially for swimmers who swim a variety of events. Because of this, I countenance the Carbon Air 2. The first thing I noticed about the Air 2 is its thin fabric. It is indubitably the thinnest tech suit I have seen on the market which helps improve speed and flexibility and provides a lightweight feel in the water. Unfortunately, its thinness has some downsides too. Although tech suits are known for lasting a ridiculously short amount of time, the Air 2 lasts even less than most. From my personal experience, it will be great for a prelims finals meet, but the difference between before and after that meet is noticeable. Towards the end of the season, the seams started fraying and the Arena logo had completely worn off. It lasted three meets before it needed to be replaced. Still, its lightweight feel and almost arcane and magical design are excellent for racing, even if the durability can stymie some. Even though the fabric is thin, the Air 2 has surprisingly great compression. Although it has a relatively low amount of carbon (one percent), you can barely tell. Arena boasts that its design enables efficient use of muscle strength through its “intelligent muscle technology.” I believe it because although it has a relatively low amount of carbon (one percent), you can barely tell. The thin fabric and great muscle compression make it a comfortable suit that can easily be put on in under two minutes. Also, it won’t be so tight you’ll be walking around like a somnambulist. This is what makes it so versatile. It is great for any event, especially IM or breaststroke, but some people prefer a tighter suit for sprint/mid-distance freestyle. Speaking from experience, the Air 2 is still more than good enough for sprint/mid-distance freestyle, especially if you are racing a variety of events. A word of warning, especially for males: the suit is 100% see-through except for modesty panels in the front area and chest area for females, and they do a good job keeping your privacy. Just make sure that you check them every time you move around a lot, especially after putting them on, because they are not foolproof. Luckily, it comes in a variety of solid and variegated colors. Choosing a pattern is a safe choice. I have gotten a lot of invective comments from people when they figure out that it is my go-to suit. These vacuous opinions stem from a place of ignorance and callowness, as they often don’t see the Air 2 for what it is: arguably the most versatile tech suit on the market that is great for a wide range of events. It is a perfect balance of all the tech suit variables, and although it may not last the longest, it is a great buy for any swimming zealot.
