It was a LEARNING CURVE using this gel product base & top coat on top of my Dashing Diva Gloss nail gel ADHESIVES. The key is to apply sparingly & carefully to ensure the base coat & top coat do not run or spill over to your cuticles, sides, or skin. They will harden under the UV light & slightly feel a burning warmth on skin areas. Also the top coat sticky tact feeling never cures, even after curing under UV lamplight. You must cure longer under lamp & finally wipe off sticky residue with non lent tissue & rubbing alcohol. If you don’t, the sticky tact will smudge and ruin the glossy sheen.. it’s very tricky, takes practice with trial & error, and patience to cure under UV lamp. TIP: I use glitter nail polish on top coat gel to masquerade any smudges or smeared gloss outcome! But the high quality gel gloss set lasts for over 6+ weeks upon application. No chips or peeling as long as you keep away from getting into skin. The Amazon sticker packaging blocked the instructions; suggesting to scan instructions with app, inconvenient! Good luck..

This was my first time buying supplies to do my own gel nails and this top/base coat has made it very very easy. They do peel off for me quickly after about a week but that might be my colored polish or the way I’m doing it as I’m not an expert! This seems high quality to me.

This stuff is MAGIC for broken nails. I have super thin nails and am in the process of ditching builder gels and growing out my natural nails. I don’t use this rubber base as intended, I use it if/when I crack or break a nail and need to reinforce the now broken nail. For instance, my big toe nail just prefers to be rounded, but I want them to be square, but when I wear sneakers, the nail often cracks on the side and I usually end up just giving in and ripping it off to just regrow and restart the process all over. With this rubber base coat, I paint right over the crack on my pedicured toes, let it cure (and honestly, the first time I used it, I didn’t have the light yet, so I cured it for 15 min in the sun hah!) but it worked like a CHARM! You cannot even feel where the crack was and a thin layer of this stuff cannot be seen or felt. I’ve also used on my longer cracked finger nails and it holds up beautifully until the nail is long enough to file off. Total game-changer!

Very strong smell but that is common with nail supplies. Really does make a nail set last!!! The nail I forgot to put it on came off but the others lasted 2+ weeks!!

Nail technician here. Products works great! The nail on my middle finger has had a crack in it for over 10 years. I usually mend it using acrylic and was looking for a different alternative. This milky white rubber base gel is self leveling, easy to use and has no odor!

I ordered a short black press on nails in bulk from Amazon, which are fantastic (look great, fashionable, & absolutely economical!) however they are a bit on the thin side. I am an executive assistant therefore always typing, and wanted a way to strengthen the press ons while adding long-lasting shine. The base and topcoat most definitely upped the ante, and the cost of the duo was unbeatable for the quality.I applied the base coat and cured it for 90 seconds after applying and filing the black-colored glue on nails. I then applied the top coat and cured my nails for 90 seconds each hand. No need to wipe off any sticky residue, and they are insanely beautiful, strong, and last for much longer. Since the nails were purchased in a short length then filed even shorter, they would usually last fairly long without needing anything extra, however the random popping off of a nail or two at the most inopportune of times wasn't the business. Now I don't have to deal with that: they stay on after scrubbing my scalp with shampoo everyday in the shower, well after furiously typing for 8+ hours a day, etc.Great value and a great solution for a very low cost manicure made possible with bulk press ons! I can't comment on how this duo works when using any other chemical or solvent.

From the time I first began doing nails, until the present, this basecoat has served me well. The topcoat is fine, but there are others that I like better…more shine, however it is more durable than many, and priced very reasonably. I am a repeat customer.
