Great value cord
I am agnostic regarding the sonic benefits of power cords but like to use well constructed cords with good IEC plugs for my hifi components. Previously that meant spending £50-£100 at least ( and yes, I know you can spend thousands but that's just crazy ). Now there are a number of much cheaper audiophile cords available originating in China and that's great. This is a nicely built cord with a decent IEC plug which is not too stiff and does the job with aplomb. I can't tell the difference sound wise from my more expensive cords though others perhaps could. I am very happy with my purchase.

£24 you must be kidding
As an audio enthusiast for over 50 years using a High end system when I came across this cable at 24 quid it peaked my curiosity? When you consider how much the cables on my current system cost? Let's not even go there this cable really was a surpris it is certainly not a rubbish cable by any standards okay I have to add concede that the plugs on my cables are of a superior quality but having a fancy case round it is only cosmetic what matters is the connectors and the ones on this two cable are all gold coated. And have an excellent grip better than some of mine which was a real surprise so I have to say that for £24 this cable is an extraordinarily goodbye and if you're just starting now go for it it will not cause issues with your sound at I know the audio snobs out there LOL poo poo it that they're hanging up let them live their tiny little lies and you pick up a bargain if it was a poor cable believe me I would tell you so I'm not in the audio snobbery brigade.

Not shielded as advertised
Cable description"High Quality power cable, 100% mylar foil shield for outstanding rejection of EMI and RFI"I can't find any sign of this mylar foil layer. Just appears to be a thick plastic insulation with nylon weave covering and any metallic sheathing connected to earth at the plug end. These just appear nice cosmetically but aren't earthed and shielded as others from elsewhere are.

Good quality
As far as good quality power cables go, I can't speak to the £££ ones, but this appears well made. Does the job for my hifi gear and gaming PC.

A very sturdy, good looking cable
Much is written about the benefits of ‘audiophile’ quality cables in all parts of hi-fi systems. The only technical argument that makes any sense to me is that poorly shielded power cables could in theory cause interference or noise in unavoidably close speaker cables. So, I thought I would try one of these shielded cables to see if it makes any difference. Frankly, you’d think if it was that important, manufacturers of expensive amplifiers would include them as standard. However, mine didn’t come with one, so I thought I’d try one of these. This cable is beautifully made and really looks the business. Did it make any difference that I could hear? No. But it looks good.
