Grandson Loved It
This was a gift and anything Mario is very welcome at the moment. He had fun with it and couldn't wait to show me that he put it together and how it works. I don't see it as a travel game unless you want something to take with you that the child can put together where you are staying. It's a cute little game, even enjoyed very much by a child a little older (9-10).

Cool but instruction are a challenge
Once assembled it is great - does not require batteries - so neat how you move the marble up to hire levels just by tilting it. Comes with two of the balls, would be trouble if either was lost making the game unusable so make sure one is kept in a safe spot if the first is lost !. Removed one star because the instructions are not at all clear - only photos that are super hard to follow since the sides of the pieces are all very irregular shaped. If they numbered the pieces and the sides it would be much easier.

So fun!
My 5yr got it for his birthday and him and my 6yr old daughter love this! I sat and played and they kept telling me they needed a turn but I was determined to beat the damn thing!! After much whining I finally gave it to them and now only play in secret at night. Kids!

Flimsy with little reuse
Ok, the idea is solid…a reconfigurable maze game based off fun Mario characters. But the reality is a little different. It feels and functions flimsy. Moving the ball through the mazes and up isn’t that much fun as the control flops around with imprecision. Swapping little square mazes around only changes the order of challenges instead of reconfiguring the game. Also, since the controls aren’t great and functionally is mediocre, boredom and frustration set in quickly. Within 10 minutes it was abandoned and long forgotten. Save you money and buy something else. Heck, take the kids out for ice cream and make real memories; it’s cheaper and much more enjoyable than this toy.

So much fun!!!
It’s a big game and a lot of fun. The base of the built maze is connected to a controller handle that moves around like an older game thing they used to have at arcades. Takes a lot of concentration, but my preschooler loves the ability to change of the maze options!
